Pretty Darn Good! — I like the style of the car and I like the sound. I dislike how it handles in poor weather conditions. Also I dislike how little room there is if you have any company and you cannot haul around really anything.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great fun little sports car. Sound is awesome and just a great car overall.

Cons: Does not handle very well in snow.

It's Freaking Awesome — Awesome car! Great performance. Doesn't drive like it's 3500 lbs. IT'S AWESOME!!!!! And mine looks awesome. You can get an awesome body kit and spoiler from the dealer and custom leather seats. Heck yes. THIS CAR IS DA BEAST. YEAH!

Pros: It's a beast

Cons: Mitsubishi doesn't warranty what they screw up

08 Eclipse — Great car, I have wanted one since they came out in 06'. It looks and sounds amazing, im hoping to push the power to about 200+hp before i get into any cosmetic work. The back seats are non-existent so if you weigh like 90 pounds and are about 4 feet tall, then theres plenty of room. Then again I didnt buy it to drive people around.

Pros: Style and performance

Cons: Practically no back seats

2008 Eclipse Gt (sportronic) — One thing that I heard about this car is that it's too heavy. It is quite heavy for it's size but I do like the added weight when I drive it. It has a solid feel when you drive it at higher speeds and seems to drive better the faster you go. The interior fits me pretty well and like the way the seats hug me. Things I like about the car. * power - it has decent power even with it's fairly heavy total weight * form - has a nice look to it * quality - haven't had any major problems with the car Things I don't like about the car. * the gap on the wheel well. It could stand a drop of about 2 inches. * The trunk is very small esp. with the RF sub in there. * doesn't hold it's value as well Would I recommend this car? Yes, but don't buy it brand new from a lot like I did. Look for a year older and you'll get a great deal on a nice car.

Guru5GD5G says:
Sporty, and small, but the power is off for the car and it’s difficukt for it to keep the power constant without constantly changing gears and making it harder to drive. This is not really for families whatsoever, and also a terrible first sports car because it honestly could make some not enjoy that style of car.

Looks/Style Ranked 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GS FWD better.
"The Body lines and unique styling make it stand out much more than the Eclipse, even though they are built almost the same."
Back Seats Ranked 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GS FWD worse.
"The eclipse is a slightly bigger car overall, and allows for just a little bit more headspace and bigger seating for passengers."
