Super Clean, Great Driver — Great car that is a bit older and new model is out. New brakes, tires and battery. Clean inside and out. Never had any mechanical problems, always reliable. Lots of space for a mid size sedan with rear seat that covers the entire back. Pros: Great car; reliable, clean Cons: Older style |

Great car Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Beautiful driving car Cons: I want a new car |

Great Car — Good gas mileage and Sporty. Low maintenance cost. Love the voice activated navigation, radio and phone capability. Heated and cooled front seats a really nice option. When it's hot out here in California, it's nice to air condition the seats. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Good looking car with plenty of power and Options Cons: Can handle 5 people but it gets a little crowded |

This Car Fits The Bill — I have a 2008 MKZ. The optional equipment that I have on this car is the AWD system, power moonroof, HID headlamps, satin/aluminum pkg, and the THXII Audiophile sound system. Performance: As far as performance goes, the 3.5L V6 love to rev up high and fast. 0-60 in 6.8 sec. The transmission is very well spaced out but have a hard time finding the right gear when I need to pass. From a standstill at WOT the computer automatically shift most of the power to the rear wheels so there wouldn't be any wheel slippage up front. The brakes seam a little bit underpowered for a car this size. The brakes seam to fade too fast and doesn't feel up to the task for simple braking. This car is still based on a FWD platform and understeer seams to be a problem but outside of that the AWD is as sure footed as boots in a snowstorm. Build Quality: The 3.5L is still a very new engine but ford has turned their act around so i'm sure that the engine would last for miles to come. I did have some rattles that the dealership was able to fix somewhat. Interior: The interior is very nice and comfy. The heated/ cooled seats work very well. At night the bright white lights that light up the dash is very well needed and the controls is very well spaced and is easy to use. The Sync system is something above amazing and is glad that I have it. The sound system is very nice but not really worth the 1K that I had to give up for it. Exterior: The rear looks sporty its just a shame that the front don't pick up were the rear end left off. The HIDs could be aimed a little upwards for better light. Cost of Ownership: I love the gas mileage, its above the EPA estimates, i'm pulling off 19 city and 25 highway.... thats something that I can live with. $25 for a oil change is more than OK and the oil can last for 5000 miles. Fun Factor: This is far from a drivers car, but I still love to drive it. Pros: Gas Mileage, 3.5L engine, roomey, no torque steer Cons: Understeer like a FWD car, no stick shift, backseat isn't so roomey, no engine mods out for it yet!!!! |

Comfortable, Classy Car. — This car is very comfortable and quiet, and decent gas mileage for AWD at about 22. Who doesn't love air conditioned seats! Also, the Microsoft Sync is awesome. My only complaints, the exterior styling and the 6 speed transmission. I feel it's a little "old man" in appearance. The 6 speed shift is a little annoying, especially on a steep hill. Pros: Comfortable and stylish interior. Love the Microsoft Sync and the air conditioned seats. Cons: Exterior styling, especially the front grill. |
