This Car Is A Great All Purpose Auto — The whole concept of ruff and ready rubber mats seats moving up and out of the way all lends it's self to an owner who is very active, physical, camping, canoeing, biking, and a dog owner. Even the seats are washable for muddy paws.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: handling and parking is very easy.

Cons: Not a car to take on beach as 4 wheel on demand function does work to get you out of trouble in soft sand. You need all wheel drive or fix four wheel drive to function.  The ride is a little bumpy as you feel the road surface and the vehical will slip back when stopped on a step hill. You need to use the hand break as if it's a Manuel gearbox.

Highly Recommend — I liked the fact it is easy to clean, it does not have carpet so you can pick up or even take out back seats and drive your dog, equipment..etc with you. very convenient feature. Has great visibility, feels like you are above the road.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Has alot of space inside, can use for multi-purpose or like a truck for the house. Pet friendly.

Cons: The cup holders in the front are to low.

Space, Utility, And Simplicity. — We love that this car is all about practical space. Some folks don't like the boxy styling, but that's what gives it so much functionality and storage. I fit an oversized front-loader washer and dryer in the back with the seats folded up--the guys at Best Buy couldn't believe it.

Pros: Amazing cargo space, functional and simple. Very utilitarian without being a brute.

Cons: None, really--it's not made for true off-road driving, but it's great for all-weather driving.

Basic Car, Not For Much — Disappointing car. Handles pathetically poor in snow or wind (even slips on the occasional dry payment!). Seems spacious on the inside, but somehow nothing ever fits in it when I go to Home Depot. It says it's good for dogs, but that is not the case, unless you want them flying around inside or in a cage in the way back where you can't see them. Very loud inside, and there is absolutely not extras on this car. Sunroof in the back seat is a nice option, but it gets really hot back there since the back windows do not fully open.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Low cost to maintain

Cons: Does not handle well in snow or wind.  Lots of interior noise

A Decent Car. — I loved how the car makes you feel huge, meaning that the interior is spacious and head room is decent. Performance wise, the car is average but has power when it is needed. The only thing it needed was better gas mileage.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The car is unique and holds it's own against wear and tear. The car has some get up and go when it is needed. All of the seats of the car can fold back into a bed. The rear seats can fold up for maximum cargo room.

Cons: I expected better gas mileage from a 4cyl. Seating for 4. the black trim.

Best Little S Utility V On The Road — I think the Element is the best of the "BOX" Utes (the others just tried to copy the ELMT) on the road. I personally like the 5 Spd trans over the Auto. Better MPG and control. The camping possibilities are outstanding. "They" even have a tent the Element can back into and leave while the tent stays in place.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The "utility" of the Element is awesome.  Just flip the rear seats up to the side and you've got 75 CU FT of cargo space.

Cons: If there is people sitting in the back seats, you have to open your door first, so they can open their door.  Only "counts" if you have more than two riding in the vehicle though :-)

The Element Is An Amazing Vehicle With Loads Of Functionality. — I love this vehicle. Its unique looks & design make it functional and fun to operate. It's great in the mountains and at the seashore. Power is adequate when passing at higher altitudes and handling is quick and responsive. Stadium seating allows for good visibility for rear seated passengers which is important for those folks suffering from car sickness. The rear seats are simple to remove & install which allows for a smooth deck when loading cargo. No repairs have been required and scheduled maintenance is minimal. Since this is my 2nd Element I would not hesitate recommending it to a friend or relative.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: This is my 2nd Element and it is a fun vehicle.   I chose this car over an SUV or station wagon because of its versatility, unique look and multi use potential.  It is hard to beat if you have an active life style, haul cargo or need a roomy vehicle with good head and leg space.

Cons: No cons noted other than slight road noise on freeways.

A Comfortable & Fun Car With Plenty Of Pzazz — This is my second Element...the vehicle has served my life style both when I was younger and into sport activities and also now as I've aged. It is great for hauling bags of feed, building materials, etc. Medical issues force sale.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Quick...reliable...minimal maint/repair...good visibility...positive handling...rear seats easily removed to increase cargo space.  Ideal for hauling bikes & sports equipment.  A fun car to drive.  The flat floor throughout makes it quick & easy to clean.  A great pet hauler no matter how big or small your pet is.  Plenty of leg & headroom plus stadium seating in rear.

    Cons: No cons noted

Great, Reliable, Cool — I love that its so easy to keep looking nice, and that it can haul anything. And that it is a Honda, so you know its reliable and well made. I also love the color - it is awesome looking. And the face that there are so many things you can do with it - its so versatile. From the tailgating canopy, to the dog fans, to the tire cover that converts to a table, and extra power outlets... there isn't much you can't do with it!

Pros: Loved the way it looks - its great to haul stuff in.  The ability to fold up the back seats or take them out is great, plus it has a tow hitch, so you can do about anything with it. Love the theartre seating in the back - people who sit in the back love it too.  Also love the cargo flooring.  Easy to keep looking nice.

Cons: None really - it does have some blind spots that took a minute to get  used to.  Other than that - loved it!  No problems... just regular maintenence.

Zippy Ride — This car is a fun ride and makes yuppies feel young. Amazingly responsive for the size and shape of the car. We were much happier with the storage when we added an aftermarket console between the front seats. The All Wheel Drive gives the extra traction you want in rain and snow With 50K on it, I've been impressed with the minimal maintenance costs. However, be sure to watch the tires in the AWD and keep them rotated. Mine did not make 30K, most dissappointing. Overall, it's sad that it wasn't marketed better and therefore discontinued.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Has a lot of energy, get up and go, for the size of the engine. Handles quite well. Fun to drive. Great radio. It's boxy look gives the car a beefy appearance. Reminded me of the 1969 Fiat 124 Wagon.

Cons: Road noise could be less. The seats could be more comfortable. Better storage design would be nice.
