Great truck. Really a mid-size which is hard to find theses days. Yes, good value. The only competition would be the GM models like Colorado. I think the Dodge is a great overall mid-size. They are hard to find and the rear fenders tent to rot. I got a great price so I am paying 1600 bucks to get the rust cleaned up but still a good deal. Thy come with a V6 or the 4.7 L V8 Magnum. Both great engines. depending on what you need it for.

Sur le site du concessionnaire, on mentionne des bruits au moteur et entretien des freins a faire. Voila pourquoi.

The best feature is weight to Power ratio, This has plenty of power to do anything you may ask of it, and one of the features not mentioned much is you dont feel like your driving a Truck at all, its a sports car masquerading as a Truck. I find a comparison unavailable in the truck line. If compared to any vehicle I would be in the higher end SUVs. Drive one with the V8 and see if you dont agree.

2008 Dodge Dakota Extended Cab. — I like the truck because it serves the purpose I bought it for, and still has some nice amenities. The only thing I would have enjoyed more about it was a 5 speed manual transmission, but they are pretty rare in this model.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a good, reliable basic all around truck, just what I was looking for and the price was less than I expected!

Cons: Really can't think of any. It has everything I need in a truck and then some.

Perfect Combination Of Sporty And Workhorse — A great color combination with the red body, black rims, and tinted windows. The lockable hard bed cover is perfect for keeping things dry and secure while camping, boating, or moving. The engine sounds great even with the stock mufflers.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Plenty of power, practically new inside and out, extremely reliable.

Cons: V8 gas mileage

I Pulled 10,000lbs Across The Continental Divide. 1600 Miles 2.5 Days!! — Great truck, the first truck I bought for myself back when I was a river guide. It starts first time every time, looks better dirty, great power, great seats, overall fun to drive and always ready to pick up something heavy and take it where it needs to go. I would drive it for life if it had back seats.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Great truck custom made by MOPAR for power but geared for economy.

Cons: Lower fuel economy for a DD

Great Small To Medium Sized Truck — Although I had sworn never to own a Chrysler product I got a good deal on this truck in 2008 with only 4K miles on it. Since then I've put over 52K trouble-free miles on it and have no complaints whatsoever. It can hold five people, haul just about anything that will fit in the five foot bed, and is reasonably economical.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I've have 6 cylinder model.  It's very reliable and easy to service.  The paint has held up very well, and there is no indication of rust anywhere.  The cabin has the basic necessities, is comfortable, with well laid-out controls.  Gas mileage is impressive on the highway (21-22  mpg).  I've had the truck for almost six years and not one bit of trouble.  It seems to have been well built.

Cons: Gas mileage in town is so-so (15-16 mpg), and it's a little down on power.  The 4-speed automatic transmission is reliable but clunky.  It's a tight fit for adults in the back seats.

This Is A Good Truck And I Truly Am Enjoying The Heck Out Of It. — This truck has 302 horsepower and rides better than most cars I have owned! I have owned a 2006 Ford Ranger, 2004 Chevy Silverado, 1999 Ford F-150, 1996 Ford F-250, 1996 Dodge Dakota, and a 1992 Dodge Dakota. This truck is by FAR the best truck I have ever owned in my entire life (and I am 46!) It's fast, it rides great, it's getting 16 mpg in town and 20 mpg on the highway. I don't know what others are saying but test drive one and you won't be sorry.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Ride, Performance, Appearence, and its Fun!

Cons: It didn't come with a bedliner.

Good Solid Performer I Would Make The Purchase Again — It really has get up and go and the highway milage for a crew cab is outstanding I have gotten up to 22 mpg. Additionally, the truck has great ride much improved of previous years. It climmbs mountains with little trouble.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Good standard afordable truck

Cons: Not too many advanced features
