Write a reviewOfficially unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California in August 2007, the Aston Martin DBS epitomizes the concept of an exotic supercar. Dubbed "the ultimate sports car" by the automaker, the DBS coupe mixes sleek, fluid styling and cutting-edge design with the power of a hand-built 6.0-liter V12 engine, which Aston Martin borrowed from the DB9. However, the automaker pumped output to 512 horsepower. As a result, the V12 can drive the sport coupe from 0 to 60 in just 4.3 seconds, making this a true supercar.
The two-door, rear-wheel-drive sport coupe seats two inside its aluminum and carbon-fiber body. Outside, the DBS exhibits distinctive Aston Martin design cues, such as its five-bar polished alloy grille, its low race-inspired stance, flared wheel arches, and a prominent spoiler integrated into the trunk lid.
Aston Martin notes that every design element has a functional as well as an aesthetic purpose. The car's low, wide stance, for instance, helps improve handling, while intake ports in the lower bumper help channel air into the engine. And the carbon-fiber body results in a slightly lighter car that's quicker and more nimble on its feet.
In many ways, the DBS has been designed to showcase the latest Aston Martin technology and to serve as the automaker's flagship model, taking over for the now-vanquished Vanquish. The attention to detail exhibited in the car's exterior extends to the interior as well. The center console, for instance, has been designed to be more efficient and functional, and emphasis has been placed on creating easy-to-use controls for the entertainment, satellite navigation and climate control systems.
Attention to detail even shows up in the choice of interior leather. For the seating, Aston Martin has opted for softer semi-aniline leather with Alcantara leather trim. The power-adjustable seats display unique DBS stitch patterns and the DBS logo. The main instrument cluster features white numerals on a dark graphite background, which contrasts nicely with the polished alloy controls and gearshift knob. It all makes for a truly world-class luxury sports car designed for the world's most discerning drivers.

This car even though its not mine its my fathers amazes me turning corners and getting up to great speeds without even noticing it. This car`s price is pretty good for an exotic sport`s car. My review for this car has a high rating

This car'c acceleration isn't at the same level as most
supercars, however it is spectacular. The handling is
amazing, too. The build quality is perfect. I have never
had to have major repairs. This car is bite-the-back-
of-your-hand beautiful, inside and out. The mileage is
pretty good in perspective, and almost no maintenance
is needed, save the regualr check up. Lastly, this car is

Fantastic car that's a bit under appreciated. The performance is superb as are the looks. It's absolutely gorgeous to look at inside and out. The DBS is also one of the best sounding cars out there letting out a loud bellow when you punch the accelerator. Amazing machine all around.Oct 05, 2008

Hmmm... well it had a top speed of 190 mph but i got
it up to around 187 so that was quite dissapointing..
and also the champagne dispenser was a little too
slow, what were i to do if there was a champagne

Want to feel like a secret agent? well guess what? I found a solution to that! hahaa ~ this is the most awesome car ever built. and when im rich enough. I WILL GET THIS CAR!! the thought of owning an Aston Martin is already mind blowing.. but this DBS sighh its over everything elsee.. =)
Mind you, the one I drove wasnt mine, wasnt even in Malaysia. simply because, it just wont get here.. bit too priceyy.. sooo yeahhhhh hmm where do i start? beauty? the most beautiful thing you can buy in the world soo far. you just wont care about those bucket seats anymore. its the best thing you want. hahaa. and just dont worry about it looking like a DB9. doesnt matter at all. all you want is to drive this car.. from point A to point B. and purposely leave something at home.. so that on your way there, you'd be very happy to drive back. pick it up. and then, go agian.. haha This is the best thing that happened. everr BUY IT! dont ask further questions.
Just dont care about the price, dont care about the power. i mean, it is less than every GT car you can buy nowadays. i mean, 599GTB thats a different class already. because that is that just cost sooo much more~~

Drove one like this for approx 25 miles over an assortment of roads, inc Motorway. Fantastic acceleration, and gearbox is very flexible. When you think of aston martin, nobody thinks about engine or chasis, they think of its style and shine. though a fun car, it is very loud and unexpected for that price. some people enjoy that, but when you grow up around cars and racing the aston martin isnt one to turn many heads. my relative has had the chance to own one, from him: overpriced, parts are expensive, and doesnt match up to porsche and audi.Mar 28, 2008
