Pros: Reliable, still looks and runs great after 13 years, comfortable. It has held its value very well. Cons: Requires premium gasoline, not a good turning radius.

Power Ranked 2008 Nissan Maxima better.
"The Maximas acceleration was strong and smooth. the Acura petered out and never really kicked in."
Back Seats Ranked 2008 Honda Accord better.
"Awesome leg room!"
Would Buy Ranked 2008 Honda Accord better.
"While Acura is supposed to be better, that is not the case here. The TSX is the kid that tries, the Accord is the veteran that performs."
Would Buy Ranked 2008 Nissan Maxima better.
"The Maxima was stronger and rode smoothly compared with the TSX."

Long Term Quality — I've now had my TSX for five years and it has been a great experience. In terms of performance, it has very good acceleration and braking. It is very solid on the road - very stable. It handles well but could have a tighter turning radius. Mileage on the highway very good. In the city with a lot of stop and go, just fair though. It runs quiet, and is a pleasure to drive - the seats are very comfortable. It's never been in the shop for anything but regular maintenance so far, and the cost of maintaining it has been reasonable. I continue to be really happy with it.

Pros: Performance, Build Quality, Appearance, Safety

Cons: Handling/steering is fine, but not sharp

Great Car In It's Price Range. — Great car for me. I purchased it in 2010 and it was new so I got a great deal. I paid the price of a Civic with the same options and more. It needs to rev to get power and that increases gas consumption. The interiror is impecable and I have no extra options yet need no more except the radio whic has no USB or apple interface that is sad. However I purchase an third party adaptor that allows me to connect my IPOD Classic.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is fun,  Powerful but not killer and in the mountains in Switzerland is great.

Cons: The trunk Lucky I am single as it would not fit a girl friend and luggage comfortably.

A Keeper — This is truly one of the nicest sport sedans I have ever owned. I originally leased it with the intention of getting another like I usually do at the lease end. However, I liked the car so much I kept it and really cannot imagine parting with it. It has probably the slickest shifting 6 speed I've ever driven and it's fun going to the store :-)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Terrific engine and transmission, great handling and mileage.

Cons: I really can't think of anything negative about this car.

A Nice Cruiser On The Street And Hwy, However It Underperforms As A "sport Sedan".. —

2008 Base with navigation, lease... Overall an ok car which was really disappointing for me since I had a higher expectation, and the reasons are: Performance - acceleration and fuel economy. The engine makes little low end torque and feels lazy until VTEC hits high cam (5.5-6k rpm), and the anemic acceleration low end accel is exasperated by the widely-spaced 5-spd autobox. Fuel economy was not all that good for a 4-cyl engine (18-20mpg), even when not using VTEC at all. The K24 engine also idles more roughly than I expected. The sportsfhit has an acceptable shift time but is a bit rough to use 1st-2nd gear. The brake is weak and invokes ABS way too often... thanks to Honda (oops, I mean Acura) undersizing the discs and tires. In city driving the turning radius is not very good for U-turn or parking, and although the suspension is adequately firm and sporty yet smooth enough for street driving, the car pushes wide and understeers badly in tight corners, again thanks to the undersized tires. User interface - The navigation is low in resolution and allows you touch-screen interface on most operations except panning the screen - to do that you need to mess with a dinky lil "joy stick" below the monitor. And to access the a/c you must use the navigation screen, which can be annoying when you first started the car and have to wait for the navigation system to boot up and accept the warning label (roughly 5-10 sec). All of the above hindered an otherwise great value package ($30k MSRP) that offers a high content equipment list, beautiful styling in and out, quality feel and build. The car exudes a "sophisticated simplicity" (which means it's pretty and classy) whenever I see one on the street... but just not when I am driving it. It's a shame... Honda (oops, I mean Acura), please make the next Euro Accord / TSX FR!! LOL.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Classy and elegant style; high standard features; i-VTEC a bit of rush when you need it

Cons: Slow for the class; widely space gear ratio; wide turning radius; not very good fuel economy.

Don't Buy A Civic & Try To Stunt, Just Pick Up A Tsx & Then You Could Stunt! — To all the car people, parts are cheap so adding power isn't too expensive. No malfunctions whatsoever. Looks really sporty & small enough to dip in & out of any lil hole (not that hole people) Not a bad choice for a daily driver.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas Saver

Cons: Nothing to my knowledge

What A Package! — Great car overall, a little bland on the styling, but I think they have fixed that with the new 2009 model. A whole lot of car for under $30000. Why buy an Accord for close to the same price, when you have a better bulit car, longer warranty, quiter, more powerful, better oerforming engine, six speed manual, and extra ammenities such as Bluetooth, Xenon headlights, memory seats, and much more!

Pros: Price, ammenities, Hondas reputation

Cons: Wish they had a turbo SH-AWD model
