I owned a tC for 4 years and it was great early on but grew long in the tooth after awhile. The interior is spacious and held up extremely well. The seats were some of the most comfortable Ive ever sat in. While it was missing bluetooth, which was odd for that model year across other new vehicles, I loved that it had a proprietary iPod connection. The engine was powerful but the 4-speed automatic sucked all life out of it. My only major complaint was that the car was a rattle machine.
Handling Ranked 2002 Acura RSX better.
"The RSX is extremely tight in corners and always feels planted while the tC inspires no confidence at all going into turns."
Value Ranked 2002 Acura RSX better.
"The RSX is a better value only because of the money that would be saved buying a used 2002 RSX versus a 2007 tC."

The Scion tC is a great car and has served me well for many years. It has a very torquey Camry engine and great body styling. Ive owned this car for 8 years and havent had to do any repairs, just oil changes and tires. Would recommend!
Power Ranked 2007 Honda Civic Coupe worse.
"The tC is definitely more powerful than the Civic coupe. The Civic Si would be a more comparable car."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2007 Honda Civic Coupe worse.
"The trunk size is close, but I like the setup of the tC trunk over the Civic coupe."

Reliable Sport Coupe Thats Made To Be Driven. — Fit exactly what I needed. Sport fun with great fuel economy. Interior comfort combined with extraordinary looks equal one fine driving machine. You will have fun driving a Scion tC and you will look good doing so. Dependability and reliability at its best.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice sport coupe with plenty of power. 5 speed manual shifts smooth with little effort. Interior designed for driver comfort / convenience with all controls at your fingertips.  Corners like a dream.

Cons: back seats not easy to get into or out of.....enough luggage space but not enough.

Fun, Fast, Not Your Mother's Tc! — Other than routine maintenance, we have never had to take this car to the shop. The car has a distinctive look with the custom sport fender flares, euro styled tail lights and pedestal spoiler with Borla chrome exhaust tip. She sounds great when you fire her up and she'll fly, if you want her to ...which is a surprise to your fellow drivers on the road.

Pros: No mechanical issues ever with this car. TRD Cold Air Induction makes it a fast, fun car to drive, especially with the throaty Borla exhaust. I've never seen another with the sport fender flares. One of a kind with all the extras we added.  Back seats fold down for extra cargo area, when needed. Panorama moon roof with separate front and rear shades.

    Cons: Small back seating area.

Scion Tc Review — Interior space for a coupe category is the highest and can handle transport a variety of goods or 5 people with enough comfort. Could have added few more features and electronics. If mileage was raised up a bit closer to 28-30 for city driving would be a plus.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: compact from exterior but quite roomy in the interior, great sporty handling

Cons: low mileage in city driving

Overall Great Car, Nice Looks & Price, No Reliability Issues. — Great handling & pick-up. Great looks and perfect price for a first time buyer. Extremely reliable car (it's a Toyota .. what else can you expect!) Fuel economy in the mid to upper 20s depending on how you drive. I'd give it 4 stars overall.

In A Relationship With My Scion Tc...that Should Just About Summ It Up! — Has pretty good acceleration. Handles amazingly. Of course it needs repairs, every car is going to need some at some point. Styling wise...there is an unlimited amount of things you can do to it which is my favorite thing! Gets awesome gas mileage and cheacp to maintain. This car is a blast to drive, especially if you put money into it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Just about everythng about this car i love.

Cons: I have yet to find anything abut it that i hate and i have had mine for 2 years so far.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling and the sound system. Engine work

    Cons: Rebuilt title

Fun And Maintenance Free — This is a very fun car to drive. It handles well and has decent acceleration and braking. Not much maintenance is needed. I have 110000+ miles and have only needed fluids replaced, tires, and front brake pads. I average about 29 miles per gallon. Runs great in snow with the right tires.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I love everything about this car!

Cons: I do not like getting in and out of the back seat.
