Owned one just like it for 12 years. Loved 6 cyl, AWD and 4WD, solid car, could go just about anywhere, not too big or too small, always felt safe.

Nice Small Suv — Nice amenities inside and out - good cargo room for a small SUV, especially with rear seats folded down. Pretty good power from V6 engine. Nice amenities in Limited like heated leather seats, etc. Nice styling and great price for value. Owned car for almost 7 years and no mx problems!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: good room, nice amenities, handles nicely

Cons: mpg could be better, but has a v8

Great Cuv For The Value. — Overall I like the way the Tucson drives, for being a Hyundai it is very good. I have always liked the Tucson since it came out as a 2005 model and have wanted one and now I do. I wouldn't trade it in unless I got the new model.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The only vehicle we have and I like the style.

Cons: No complaints to avoid

Only Had It For 1 Month, But, At This Point In Time We Love It! — We've had the car for 1 month now. At this point in time we love it! I call it "Silver Blue Moon" (Because it is silver and we purchased it on January 1, 2010, The Blue Moon). It has a sporty look and it is fun to drive. The Engine is clean and looks appealing. The car has pep and power, it has the extra room we needed. We love the heated leather seats. We love the sunroof, the privacy glass windows and the great gas milage, approx. 24mpg.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Hyundai Tuscon — My first cross over and I like it. It drives and handles well. I have the 2.7 engine, 6cyl and I recomment the 3.3 engine, 6 cyl. More power. The family is jealous because we have the nicest SUV and they wish they can have one to.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: a lot of options are standard

Cons: should have got the 3.3 engine

Much More Room — I enjoy the fact that I am higher up than a car. There is so much more room in this vehicle to load stuff in. It makes for a great family vehicle and yet it still looks sporty enough not to remind you of a minivan. One thing I miss having from my last vehicle is a moon roof.

Pros: Lots of room

Cons: not fast enough

Quite Powerful, And Nice To Drive. — The steering felt awkward at first, almost too soft. The ride hight was nice, and you feel you have more influence on the road compared to driving smaller cars like Polo's. Nice and spacious inside, but the interior finishes could have been better.

Pros: Powerful, high and spaciuos

Cons: Possible fuel guzzler, and questionable finishes

Seems a little overpriced. Most used Tucsons have the 2.0 litre engines which are really under-powered. Gas mileage is not very good for this size and style of smaller SUV. Read More
