The GMC Yukon XL pickup got a major makeover inside and out for 2007. Featured changes include a more stable frame, refined interior, new structural materials for a quieter ride, increased power, and better fuel consumption. Among other intriguing amenities, you'll get to enjoy heated seating in the first and second rows, rear seat DVD system, and navigation system operated by a touch screen. The Yukon XL features 5 different trim levels (SLE, SLE1, SLE2, SLT1, and SLT2) and 18 trims.
When it comes to powertrains, few vehicles can match what the Yukon XL brings: a 5.3 L, 310 or 320 hp V8, or a 6.0 L, 352 hp V8 with 4 speed automatic transmission. Expect to get around 14 mpg in the city and 20 on the highway. All trims have 4 doors and seat either 8 or 9. With all seats up, you'll get 45.8 cubic feet in cargo space. Take out the third row and fold down the second row to reach maximum cargo space of 137.4 cubic feet.
Overall, drivers agree that the Yukon XL made some positive strides in 2007. Smooth handling, spacious interior, and capable powertrain make the XL worth considering. The DVD Entertainment system will be very useful for long trips with kids. The exterior is just beautiful. The styling is unique and the grille is something you will not see on any other vehicle. August 28, 2013This car has great acceleration with the 6.2 liter engine. I love the amount of space it provides when hauling things. It has a sleek and sporty look to it. I feel safe driving it in the winter and snowy roads.

June 9, 2008THis car can take off and it goes. It runs very smooth and feels very safe. It is fun to sit up high above other cars. Easy to drive has back up beeper to notify is you come close in the parking lots
March 28, 2012We had this car for three years and loved every minute of it. We had it lowered on 22s and it looked sweet. This car was awesome for a long road trip. Great ride quality and tons of power with its 385 hp. Good in the snow with AWD.
February 14, 2010This is the ultimate road warrior. Quality exudes from every point. The performance is outstanding and I can smoke most cars half it's size. There is nothing not to like about this truck. Load up the family, the gear and get outta the way!
February 21, 2009Mom's truck/family hauler. Pretty decent performance and fuel mileage for such a big rig. Can carry 7 people, 3 dogs, and all the luggage.
December 31, 2007Excellent vehicle, comfortable drive, luxury interior, cost of ownership is somewhat high with gas prices but the lease deals on this truck are unbeatable. Build quality is excellent and it is an AWD which enhances driving experience especially in the rain. If you don't mind the price of gas...get one.
August 29, 2008I absolutely love it, the kids love the dvd player in the back,it keeps them quiet while my wife and I can have a conversation. We all feel safe, I drives like a big Chevy (smooooth). I love the truck. It is luxurious and comfortable plenty big. Did I say I love it
October 22, 2007This is the most comfortable and stylish vehicle I have ever owned. It is Black on Black with a lot of chrome. It stands out in a crowd and turns heads. It is fun to drive a good looking vehicle that everyone looks at. It is quiet, has plenty of acceleration, great handling and sounds good.
