The GMC Sierra 1500 half-ton pickup truck got a serious makeover for 2007. Interior changes include more storage compartments, more room in the rear, and new materials that reduce noise. Trim-specific upgrades feature the SLE1's new front bench seat, the SLT's Bose speaker system, and new 6 speed automatic transmission in the Denali. You'll have your choice of over 40 different trims, all of which received stronger body frames. You can divide all the trims into 4 basic groups: Work Truck, SLE, SLT, and the Denali. You'll also get to choose from regular, extended, and crew cab sizes, which offer 3 different box lengths: 5 ft. 8 in., 6 ft. 6 in., and 8 ft. The Sierra 1500 features 4 different engines that can tow close to 10,500 lbs.: a 4.3 L, 195 hp V6 and 4.8 L 295 hp, 5.3 L 315 hp, and 6.2 L 403 hp V8's. Expect to get 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway on average. Overall, drivers come away with positive impressions of the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500. good all round. I love this this truck, It is a pleasure to drive. Very good on fuel. Runs perfect everytime i drive it. Has lots of power. No interior rattles. The truck is pretty cheap to fix aswell. I will definatly be keeping this one.

The ride comfort is very impressive for a truck. The seats are cheaply made and don't offer and adjustable lumbar support. Also the bed does dent easily if you try to load from the side.
December 6, 2011Nice family truck. Took 5 vacations with it. We take an annual vacation. We had it since 8/23/2007. Lovely interior and its leather. This one's a Denali! Isn't that nice? It was comfortable. It can reach 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. Fast truck!

May 28, 2013This truck is a great truck it has more than enough power to pull anything you want. It gets great gas mileage for a full size truck. It has not given me any problems what so ever i would recommend to anyone
January 3, 2011Basic GM Fleet Truck(not a station wagon with 2'bed) w/4.8L and cruise. Pleased with truck,priced right, good power and handling-lot better than the 90's trucks. Decent hiway MPG and excellent A/C ! A little cheep on the plasticky interior, getting a rattle or two-build quality/fit n finish below japanese vehicles but I still like it !
September 25, 2010Good Truck.. cant tow like a 3/4 ton but can still do a good job. well built. Does just fine with most things i do. Fine for commuting to work and good highway mileage for a truck. Amazing vehicle
September 6, 2010Best Truck I've owned so far. Great gas milage for a pickup of its size. The interior trim is top notch in quality for a truck. You don't really think the interior is even a truck.
June 27, 2008Nice truck. Interior of GMC trucks in my opinion is much classier than Chevy but both are Nice trucks. Build quality is pretty solid. Not sure if it's just my truck but brakes tend to be squeaky at times. Gas mileage is so so, could be better, could be worse. Overall GMC makes a great truck however there is always room for improvement.
September 19, 2012I have like this truck from the beginning not one thing i dont like on it. The performance of the truck is amazing even straight out of the box. The appearance of the truck is very nice and has everyone seems to like it.
July 8, 2009I've always loved this truck. It's gotten me through a lot of bad weather and deep snow. Throw in the fact that I can have 6 people inside this beast and be hauling a load of bricks, makes this a man's vehicle.
