Luxury Car Par Excellance — The Crown Victoria is one of the most comfortable and impressive luxury cars in the $33,000 - $42,000 price range. With its overhead V-8 there is plenty of power in Ford's flagship car. The Crown Vic is roomier and has more trunk space than the Chrysler 300. This car is built to last and comes standard with all the extras (A/C, power windows, power mirrors, power seats, heated mirrors).

Pros: rear-wheel drive, leather seats (with LX option), lumbar seats, V-8 engine

    Cons: none

Great Car — Just what I wrote in the cons column I would keep buying them if they still built them. Great looking and great mechanically car. Very dependable car. Low Maintenance vehicle. Great sound system. Oh another dislike they have too many problems with the ATC system the older vehicles were better than the newer ones because they made them cheaper. Better off buying one with the manual heat controls have LESS problems with that unit.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Vey nice looking and great handling car, wished they didn't stop building them.

Cons: The only thing I dislike is the way they positioned the overhead console it partially blocks the view of the rear view mirror. The ATC units have a lots of problems.

Crown Vic S - Lwb — This is an 2008 model extended wheelbase car I bought in 2011 from Griffin Ford in Louisburg NC. (For some reason, this site wouldn't give me the 2008 option.) My 6'5" long-legged, big-footed body can fit in the back seat, even with the front seats pushed all the way back. It's sad that FMC has ended production of CV/GM/TC. These are great autos. Hopefully this one, and my 2003 Grand Marquis, will run right on, since I can't replace them with new ones.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car has plenty of room, and also gets decent gas mileage.

Cons: A big con is the clearcoat on the roof that Ford won't fix. Apparently they only repaint cars in government service, owned by the original owner.
