Rough idle in gear only/warm engine
I have a 07 Monte Carlo 6cyl. It idles rough in gear only/warm engine. New plugs, wires installed, routine maintenance regularly, etc. No hesitation just rough idle. Any suggestions???

Write a reviewAfter the new generation began in 2006, the 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo changed little from the prior year.
Engines remained the same, going from a 3.5-liter LZE V6 rated at 211 horsepower up to the SS engine, a 5.3-liter LS4 V8 rated at 303 horsepower. The SS certainly recalls the Monte Carlo's muscle car roots. Surprisingly, this small-block engine gets fairly good mileage at 18/27 city/highway (can anybody confirm this?)

Its an amazing car in general it grips turns at low and high speeds. The only downside is that you may run into some transmission issues with the vehicle. Id give it 5 stars but, fwd somewhat hurts the vehicle being a bit torquey too much.Aug 12, 2020

Has pretty good power, wish it had a little more. If you have big corners like a highway entrance or exit ramp you can confidently take the corners at 50-60MPH, which is quite a lot of fun. Exterior is clean and simple which is what makes this car so appealing in my opinion, Interior is pretty nice comfortable seats lots of head and leg room, even in the back seat. Fuel economy, well its a V8. I average 20.5MPG with a lead foot. Comfortable + fast + consistent handling = ALOT FUN to drive.Jan 04, 2013

Great car, just hit 72,000K and so far no major mechanic issues. The muffler is starting to rattle.. but really makes it sound more beefy! Great acceleration and the option to use Flex Fuel (if they ever bring it back) is cool. I drive a lot of highway so I get on average 24.7MPG. Very nice looking car with good handling and decent power and a fairly good ride to
it. Build quality is fine but with rattles/squeaks every now and then and it has
needed some repairs over the years but only expected things. Gas mileage is in the
low 17's and runs about $40 a week. Finally it is a fairly fun car to drive but its only

Quick acceleration, beautiful interior, tight responive steering, nice exterior (could have looked more aggressive) on the down side, expensive tires, expenive tabs well... everything is good about it but the price. The car has a lot of HP and handles very well when you use it,
also showing off strong body style with the SS fallowing closely along.Has a nice gray on black interior with SS on the steering wheel.Great on gas with no maintenance needed chevy of course.When you drive the car heads always turn and other SS owners always have stuff to say,all and all it stands out in a crowd!Jul 06, 2008

great car i've had this one for about half a year now and i haven't had any problems with this car yet! very reliable and you can pound miles on it with only wear parts to replace. handles great on turning and cornering but does lean a little. horsepower with the 3500 v6 is ok compaired to cars similarly priced. the ride is smooth and has the most room in it's class. excellent trunk space, i can fit all of my hockey goaltending gear in it with no problems.
