2007 Buick Rendezvous Trims and Specs

The base model 2007 Buick Rendezvous CX is a five-passenger SUV with two rows of seats. It comes with a 3.5-liter, 195-hp, V6 engine and only a 4-speed automatic. All-wheel drive has been discontinued this year, but the CX does benefit from more features inherited from discontinued trims. New in the 2007 Rendezvous CX are ABS brakes and OnStar with navigation.

Standard features are plenty in this front-wheel drive SUV. Power windows and locks, keyless entry, automatic headlights, rear parking assist, front and rear wipers, cruise control, fog lights, front and overhead consoles, and a leather wrapped steering wheel are all included. The second row folds or can be removed. It also reclines for more passenger comfort. A roof rack adds more storage versatility and a crossbar can be added. The cargo area features tie-downs and can accommodate up to 109 cubic feet. A Luxury Package gives the 2007 Rendezvous CX a third row and adds a power driver's seat and wood trim. XM radio, a sunroof, rear audio controls, side airbags, traction control, a Driver Information Center, and a tire pressure monitor are other extras.

For more luxury and space and creature comforts, the 2007 Buick Rendezvous CXL is a giant step above the base CX. Though it features the same 3.5-liter, 196-hp V6 and 4-speed automatic as the CX, the 2007 Rendezvous CXL comes standard with three rows of seating for seven passengers. In addition to the CX standard equipment, the CXL adds power front seats with memory, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, audi controls on the steering wheel, remote garage opener, trip computer, wood trim, and alloy wheels. OnStar with Turn-by-Turn is new this year.

In terms of safety, the front-wheel drive CXL comes standard with ABS this year, like the CX, but it also offers side airbags, a tire monitor, and traction control. Fog lights, electronic brakeforce distribution, and parking assist sensors are also included. The 2007 Rendezvous CXL also has options not available with the CX, such as the heads-up display, which allows you to keep your eyes on the road and still get car information, heated seats, 6-CD changer, a navigation system, and a DVD player. The third row can fold or be taken out, and the second row does recline. Like the CX, other options add captain's chairs, rear audio controls, satellite radio, and a sunroof
