V70r - Sports Car Disguised As A Station Wagon — The 2005 Volvo V70R is ideal for long hauls across the country and runs up into the mountains for skiing. With the Geartronic automatic transmission, city traffic is not a problem except for the large turning radius aligning into tight parking spaces. The 300 HP engine provides stunning acceleration for a station wagon and it's fun to fly by unsuspecting Porsches. With the standard AWD, superb handling and grip made you feel confident that you were safe in drastic conditions. The front seats set a standard that few others in the industry can match. The 60-40 rear seats fold down to give lots of cargo capacity. Standard features include 17" alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, roof spoiler, leather seats - heated in front, leather steering wheel with blue stitching, special blue gauges, auto-dimming rear view mirror, rain sensing wiper system, Homelink, Xenon headlights, fog lights, and much more. Other possibilities include a 6-speed manual transmission, dashboard navigation system, sunroof, 18" wheels, roof rails and more.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fantastic front seats (perfectly contoured, heated, 6-way power), lots of power (300 HP - who'd suspect a station wagon to blow past you?), good road grip (AWD), great stealth looks in the Titanium Grey Pearl, excellent quality in fit and finish as you would expect from Volvo.

Cons: Dealer repairs expensive, dealer deceptive, big turning radius while parking due to AWD, fair mpg - max 26 mpg highway, 19 mpg city

Volvo For Life. — Very nice car, looks like a regular volvo but it's not ! With 300hp under the hood , this car is amazing. Unfortunately the maintenance is expensive but it worth the pleasure. With the AWD and 6 speed manual gearbox , it will be amazing on snow.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Power , sound system, quality, accessories

Cons: Expensive repairs, lot of electronic module that can break and take your money away.
