The Nissan Armada was introduced in 2004 as Nissan's full-sized SUV. It is more luxurious than the Pathfinder and Xterra, and larger and more rugged than the Murano. The Armada is based on the Titan platform, and offers best-in-class rear leg room.
The 2004 Armada comes in two trims, the SE and LE, both of which come in various incarnations. The SE is available as a 4WD, 2WD, and the Off Road version. The LE is the more luxurious version, and is available as a 4WD or 2WD and comes standard with posh options like leather seating. The Armada has a 5.8-liter V8 engine that offers 305 horsepower.
Drivers speak highly of the Armada's cargo and passenger room and easy handling. Some drivers have had significant problems with the tires and brakes wearing out too quickly.

What owners say
"Overall, owners are very pleased with the 2004 Nissan Armada, praising its performance, space, and comfort. They love the powerful engine, spacious interior, and reliable drive. However, many find the gas mileage to be a downside, especially with rising fuel prices, making it less economical for daily use."
Great ride. very comfortable and spacious. Looks great with chrome 22's.Great acceleration, average mpg. Styling good very fun to drive. The BOSE stereo sounds great. Very minimal blind spots.wish it had heated seats. May end up getting aftermarket. Traction control/stability control works awesome in the snow.
January 29, 2011I've yet to find anything I didn't like about this car. Has 130+ thousand miles on it and have no troubles with it what so ever. Only thing we've had to do to it is the usual maintenance items, tires, oil and filters, etc.
February 6, 2011I love much about the car. It drive like a dream despite the size. Plenty of space for the whole family, can comfortably fit 8 people.. Entertainment DVD for the back seats in case of long distance travel. Just love it!!!

February 12, 2015this is a great vehicle for long trips, but in the city you're gonna burn a lot of fuel. i like the looks of it , has great power response and is excellent in the snow. i would buy another one.
January 29, 2014I love EVERYTHING about this vehicle except the gas mileage. With gas prices continuing to increase, the vehicle is becoming too expensive for me to drive. This was the everyday vehicle for our family, but we need something more economical.
April 1, 2011awesome, love it. Nissan's Titan engine is the best. starting to look a little 'aged', but its paid off and have no plans of getting a new one. Will give her a 'facelift' prob next year. tons of power and towing.
March 29, 2010Great vehicle. Great drive - all the bells and whistles with this super sized SUV. Love it. This vehicle has been well cared for - great value for the money.
February 15, 2021Its a great ride to have if you have a family, great to travel in, extremely reliable, great power. A true multiuse vehicle, good for offroad fun, good for the family, and good source of transportation to and from work.
