this car is sort of all in one little package. Great handling, gas mileage, and it looks beautiful. very durable and spacious. Just an all around good car.

    Value Ranked 2004 Mercedes-Benz M-Class worse.
"I believe its a better value because these cars are almost exact in the features they have but the bmw gets better gas mileage for the in town and highway driving"

Love Bmw's. — First time in a BMW and I will continue to buy them. Love how it handles, it is just a really great car to drive. I can go 90 miles an hour before I realize it-it rides that smooth. I feel good driving this car and I have owned my share of cars.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Powerful responsive car. handles like a race car, very reliable. Looks good and very comfortable seats. Fun car with double sunroof. Head turner even early models.

Cons: Lack of storage like sunglasses and personal items. She is thirty-gas, augh!

Bmw X3 — it is a very beautiful car is good that it isn't as big as a bmw x5, but however it isn't as big to be a good family car, i think that the perfect size it's of the new bmw x3, bigger than an old x3 and smaller than an x5. The power is ok, because is less than an x5 that is too much powerful. i think that the new bmmw x3 is a very good car, and the older not as good as i want. however all bmw suv line is not good to do off road.

Pros: it isn't as big as a bmw x5 or audi Q7

    Cons: fuel costs too much

Great Vehicle For The Price! — The driving performance is great, it has quick pick-up and sharp turns. Had installed new breaks in 2009, new battery November 2010, and there is an extended warranty on this car till 3/2011 with Zurich. BMW is known for expensive repair costs. I have done regular maintance at Seattle BMW and German Auto Specialist (Factoria). The car has been garaged during my ownership and the body and interior is in good shape! Since I live and work within two blocks, I drive this vehicle 2-5 times a month for short distances, so the mileage is VERY LOW. This is an excellent car, had great TLC!!

Pros: SUV storage, durability, yet small enough to fit in compact parking spaces

Cons: BMWs are pricy to fix.  But that is BMW...

No — it's powreful with excellent handling ,but the 3.0 liter engine is very thirsty, bulid quality is very poor too!Appearance is very old-fashioned,so if u want to buy a new LSUV,X5 or Porsche Cayenne will be the better choice。

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: handling

    Cons: quality

Bmw Got This One Right Straight Out Of The Box! — The BMW brand was in my mind over-rated until we bought this puppy. I also had a 2000 Mercedes ML 320 - which the BMW X3 was built to compete against. The BMW was as powerful and much smoother on the road. My ML was sturdy and dependable, but not as nicely appointed. Both are great highway cars, but my next car will be a BMW!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Performance and utility combination

Cons: I don't still have one!

Great! — Very functional, fits everything in, the dog even gets her own space! The boot is bigger than the X5. I got the one with Leather, Sat Nav, CD changer etc, all great. Only downside so far is that the paint has started peeling off the steering wheel.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fits everything, nice & easy to drive for a big car

Cons: Winter fuel consumption is about 10mpg less than in the summer.

Best Suv But You Get What You Pay For — MPG is great and handling is great a little bit expensive new. 6 speed is fun. good in snow. Has not broke down or have not spent lots on maintenance. German quality at its best! BMW rocks oh yeah. Yeah!

Great Value In The Used Market — Solid build, first BMW we have had. Rides a little rough and not for someone looking for a plush ride. Great handling and good ergonomics. Interior is not particularly high end but well constructed. We liked it enough that we just bought a second one, the 3.0 this time.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: If you like to Drive,  BMW is a great choice.

Cons: should have more options for the money
