Cannot isolate the problem! Need Help! Car is in a BMW certified mechanic. Clogged Catalytic Converter - replaced Runs rough - cylinders 1 & 2 getting fouled from oil. No oil leaks. I have a 2004 x3 BMW. I'm trying to replace the PCV valve. I have disconnect all components that are attached to the exhaust manifold or surrounding it. The manifold is loose enough to move about a 1/2 inch off the engine but i can't get it off completely. I can't see any other hoses or connections that would keep it from coming loose. Any suggestions?
