Mazda Mpv - Family Vehicule — Owned this car for 5 years. Loved it with young kids (3) and could pull 3000 pounds RV for summer vacation. Had some problems with coils and for the first time in my life had small problems like overdrive electric wire cut because of friction when turning the wheel, had to change horns, steering wheel oil completly loss in driveway because of a damaged pipe. Very expansive to change spark plugs because have to remove manifold. Other than these problems, really liked the car, easy to drive, feet and leg space was excellent but it reduced the trunk space though.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great look for a minivan, handling was excellent for this type of vehicule. Good looking interior. Second row bucket seats could slide to create space between them or close them together to create bench.

Cons: Not as roomy as other vans. Problems with coils. Fuel economy wasn't good.

Great Overall Mini-van — In the seven years I've owned this vehicle I've put well over 160K on it, all I've had to do is change plugs, oil changes, tires, brakes and a water pump and it's still running strong. It's a great vehicle and very dependable, I wish Mazda didn't change to the new smaller version of it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Over 244K on the ODO and still going strong.  In the 7 years I've owned this Mazda, it has never left me stranded

Cons: Gearing in the tranny could have been done a bit differently.  It's a 5 speed but when in cruise control and pulling a little bit of hill it downshifts quite a bit

Reliable — The paint, seats, etc have held up great! We love that the third row folds away or it can tilt the other direction for tailgate seating. This car is rarely in the shop! I would buy a Mazda MVP for my next van but Mazda stopped making them.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Reliable. Great handling. Good storage. Good gas mileage. Rarely in the shop.

    Cons: No power doors.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: very good little minivan

Van Has A Soul Of A Sports Car — the performance on this car is sick the acceleration is fast, stops instantly but smooth, and great handling the build quality is good but needs a little repairs the appearance is like a sports car but beefed up the van gets great mileage and maintenance is affordable and last but not lease the van is muy fabalosa to drive

Pros: great gas mileage and nice speed

    Cons: gets alittle rusty
