Not The Right Choice For Me — Biggest mistake I've done in years. Costed me an awful lot in maintenance already, and troubles are not finished yet. Was thinking I was going for reliability with a Kia SUV, looks like I did not inform myself enough before buying this car. Can't wait to get rid of it, hopefully in one year or so.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nicely powered SUV, nice interior

Cons: Gas guzzler, very costly in maintenance

Great Comfort But Huge Fuel Consumption — Has been reliable over the 10 years. Some corrosion on the luggage compartment door. Huge fuel guzzler. Main electrical control unit for interior lighting and license plate shorts and requires replacement regularly. Very comfortable ride. Lots of cargo room. Overall great vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Comfort

Cons: Fuel Guzzler

Nice Small Truck — Wonderful truck. Too bad the new ones are less of truck and more car. Needed a 7-seater so I upgraded to the Borrego. The Timing belt needs to be replaced every 100,000 km and should never be missed! The transmission was great, the options were great. Winter driving was a breeze in it. Went down several off-road trails and it performed great!

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: I loved the look and feel of it overall.

Cons: The timing belt needs replacing every 100,000 kms or it will stop running and cause damage. It didn't have 7 seats.

Solid, No Fuss. — Works great in both mud and snow, underrated for its off road capailities. Body on ladder type frame construction and real 4X4 gearing, it will go anywhere a Jeep will. Spacious and confortable, is also a good daily commuter. Very solid.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Offroad capabilities

Cons: Gas mileage

Mine Is Ruby/grey With Grey Leather Interior, And The Aluminum Rims — Has been a wonderful Ride. Reliable, only problems were from manufacture and it is the first run model so over all nothing more than expected. Fluid changes are a Breeze! Maintaining so far has been very simple....however changing out the timing belt for the home garage is a big task and extremely expensive at the professional garage. I also don't like the lack of access to the spark plugs. Oh yeah and the Rims SUCK in salty conditions....the pit very easily!

Pros: Accelerates very well, Very safe design.

Cons: Fuel Effency in my model isn't so great.

The Vehicle Seems A Bit Buggy. — Check engine light comes on at random. Poor fuel mileage. Can't easily get a service/repair manual.
