need to know if a 3.5 motor out of a 01 honda odessy ex will work in a 03 honda pilot ex both are 3.5 only thing i found different is the intake

The Honda Pilot is completely new in 2003, replacing the Honda Passport SUV. This is a full mid-size SUV that carries eight passengers, a V-6, 240-hp engine, and 4WD. Even with all the great features, it is not a workhorse dropping consumer ratings to about 9.0 / 10.0.
It is no surprise this Honda is rated highly by consumers. The 2003 Pilot carries forward all the traditional Honda trademarks such as quality, dependability, clean running, safe and economical. In case you don't have eight passengers, you may fold down the back two rows of seats to create enormous storage space.
The 3.5-liter engine supplies enough power to move this vehicle through traffic, and down the highway - but not so far off the road. Even with the larger engine, the Honda smart design is good on gas and on the environment.
Prices for used cars often vary, though it is safe to say that a price range between $14,000 and $22,500 for a 2003 Pilot is pretty accurate for a vehicle in good condition. All Pilot models have front-side airbags and are equipped with ABS disk brakes. In both front and side crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2003 Pilot score 5 out of a possible 5-stars.

Th 2003 Honda Pilot EX-L is a great all around family vehicle. We used it for commuting, school pickup/drop off and family vacations. Very roomy with fold down seats for trips to the local home store. Not the most stylish vehicle, but definitely reliable.Jul 26, 2014

There is nothing to dislike about this car. It looks great, it is a great family car for hauling the kids with all their equipment and the rear fold down seating (3rd row) is a bonus we have used many times. It may be a little cramped for adults for a long trip, but not bad for short ones. The second row of seats is plenty roomy. Good driving in all weather. Extremely reliable car.Feb 22, 2013

This car is comfortable on long trips. Can swallow 4' x 8' sheets of whatever. Is generally very reliable. What I don't like is that Honda knows this transmission has a built in design flaw. I've had mine repaired rather than let Honda put the same thing back in. It has a solid look and feel to it.Mar 30, 2012

Strong V6 acceleration and it's a Honda for those that don't want an Oddysey. Although my oold Civic Si and EX handled immensely better, they were both stranded in the driveway when it snowed. I don't miss that steep, winding sloping cul du sac whatsoever...Jan 26, 2011

Handles well in bad weather may roll in turns
Nicely styled
Lasts forever but maintenance is high

Honda Pilots are well known as vehicles that
are well built and perform better than most of
their SUV competitors. Better acceleration and
ride; better fuel economy. Better repair
history. Consistent styling that allows an
older model to retain its value. An SUV is NOT
expected to be fun to drive - but this sure

This car is simply amazing!! Has great pickup on he road!! I havn't ever had any problems with this car, just the normal oil change and tires. It has great gas mileage! It pulls my trailer great, and my boat. The Dvd player in the back is nice on trips to orlando and tennessee, it keeps everyone quiet. the AWD is nice cause I don't have to be shy in the mud!! Peformes well, brakes excellent. Quick start and stop. I feel very safe with children. Auto 4WD is awesome!! What else can I say? It's nice to have the back seat with their own controls, like the hauling space in the back, where the seats fold down.Aug 17, 2009

This vehicle comes with a stock 240hp V6 engine. It has eight seats and comes with auto climate control, towing hook and a outside temperature gauge. The pilot has a 6 disc changer and a dvd player too. I love it!!Jul 27, 2009

The performance and quality of this car is unmatched to other domestic cars both in acceleration, braking and fit and finish. The gas mileage and maintenance is not expensive as repairs are not frequent. Fun car to drive around in.Jun 11, 2009

I like that is get the best gas mileage in it's class. It also has and amazing amount of room for it's class and the third row seat was one of the first of it's kind. It's very comfortable. As for dislikes. It has many blind spots and it's turning is a bit funky (hard to explain) put over all this has been and excellent car. Dec 08, 2008
