Mine Is Cool — I love my truck, i inherited it from my dad. There's a couple mods but nothing fancy. It sure does like to spin. The engine is just strong enough to be fun but this thing isn't made for off road. I have gotten stuck in the most innocent of places. Mine is defiantly a street truck worthy of performance mods.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's got pep once it gets going

Cons: Slow off the block and  spins a lot.

If It Can Survive A 13 Yr Old And Farming It Can Survive It All! — Bought new in '02 its been rode hard, used, and abused. I'm talking hauling over loaded trailers, loaded down with rock, going mudding, gravel roads all the time, and chasing cattle. Its at 300k miles and still kicking it with no end close in sight. If you need a truck that is as tough or tougher than you look no further.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Built chevy tough! long lasting, and can handle anything you throw at it.

Cons: Over time it has started getting horrible fuel milage, Rides a little rough after 300k miles but was rode hard

Dependable. — I liked the body style. The cab was well layed out. Handles well in inclement weather. Parts are easy to find and affordable. The bed is not too short or too long. Does just fine whether it's a long trip or a local run.

Pros: Comfortable ride and covenient trim package. Can handle a hefty load. Easy to work on.

Cons: Wish the fuel economy was better.

Excellent Ride — Great cargo capacity, power, comfort, and reliability only downfall is lack of gas mileage due to v8. Never got stuck, easy to drive even for a smaller individual. Roomy, Im 6 ft and I fit in the back seat with reasonable comfort. I love my Silverado will never buy a different truck.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Great reliable vehicle never broken down comfortable getsbjob done easily

Cons: Low gas mileage

I Really Like The Truck And Definatly Serves Its Purpose Of A Work Vehicle — I really like the versatility of this truck if I needed to haul a trailer or fill te bed up with something I could, or if I needed to take family somewhere I also could do that, the truck is very reliable and always ran and drove perfectly

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: run and drives like a dream and has never failed me

Cons: gas mileage isn't the best, small stuff goes wrong such as extended cab door handles, and widow regulators

Love It. — I bought this truck about 6 years ago with 200kplus KM on it. Nearing 400 now, and I can say it is better than any new truck I have test driven to date. I drove a new Silverado today and had my pen ready to purchase it cash, but there is no way the new ones are worth more than 30k.. I will keep this truck until the doors rust off, and fortunate for me, the body is in perfect shape.

Pros: amazing class, traditional guys truck.

Cons: back seat, even with the extended cab, is very confining. The leather could be a bit higher quality.

Great For My First Vehicle. — Has great gas mileage. Runs great. Haven't had any problems with it. It's a pretty fast truck on the highway in the higher gears. I got it for a great price for the condition it's in. It's definitely a fun truck to drive around and own.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The torque in the higher RPMs while on the highway.

Cons: The fact that I can't open the tailgate.

03 Silverado — Good power and great looks the 5.3 had pretty decent milage with plenty of power unless you pull alot. Handled great and the Lt package was amazing with its heated leather seats that were power adjustable so comfortable for the long drives

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: looked great and performed great

Cons: price
