The Tahoe!! — Love this truck, very reliable, and never lacking the power or comfort, great gas mileage on long trips not so great in town. One of my all time favorite vehicles, this is the 2nd I've owned and am sure one day to get another.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Loved this truck, great power with the 5.3 married to the 4 speed transmission, and tow haul mode.

Cons: being stuck in Austin traffic with a big v8 going no where.

Best Large Suv In My Opinion — Other than other GM products like the Escalade there is not a better riding large SUV out there. I mean big V-8, third row seat, gas hog SUV. I'm sure the new crossovers probably handle better and drive more like a car but we love our Tahoe. We will buy another.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fits the entire family and luggage when we have trips.  We have had it for years (7) and currently have almost 180,000 miles but maintenance has been low.  Did have to replace the AC compressor though at about 130,000 but other than that nothing major.  Comfortable and wife loves it.

Cons: Drinks gas but I knew that going in.  Handles more like a truck so it wouldn't be good at the track but the ride isn't bad.  A lot of area to clean when it's car wash time.

Power Packed. — The bulkiness is probably it's biggest asset. Great for hhauling/ towing & in rough terrain or less than ideal road conditions. Seats 5 comfortably or 8 with added 50/50 third row split bench. Aftermarket entertainment & navigation systems has made this a gem.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Comfortable front & middle row, especially for a full size male.

Cons: Third how has limited leg extention space. Ideal for a little person... or groceries. Third row seats must be manually removed. Only about 10mpg.

Great Vehicle — It makes you feel safe because of the size especially if you have children. We have a 30ft race trailer that it pulls with ease. It has not been in the shop for anything other than an oil change. Loved this vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Worked great for my family vehicle with a great towing capability

Cons: Gas can get pricey at times

Great Reliable Car — Loved the moonroof, leather seats, climate control and traction for rainy weather. CD player, cassette player center consol glove box towing package moonroof and armrest . Backseat cd and radio player capabilities for that long road trip. Head phone capabilities also

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lifetime warranty on transmission and ac

Cons: Few bumps and bruises

Car Was Used Since New To Plow And Held Up Fantastic — Car was great, it is still used as a work truck but I have a newer ford expedition as my daily driver now. The only problem is the whole frame, front to back rotted out. I may save it to see if GM decides to recall them like Izuzu and Honda did.

Pros: Very dependable until frame rot

Cons: Frame robed out
