Best Mpg Car Out — Aluminum and plastic this car only weighs 1600 lbs., I tow it behind my RV and don't know it's there, Comfortable for long distances, if the sun goes down and the gas stations all close, so what? Just keep driving until dawn, great car for crossing the country quickly and cheaply. When the batteries are not acting up it drives VERY well, sporty, and quiet. I still have YEARS of warranty on the batteries, likely I will never need to pay for any repairs on them, and the dealer repaired them after showing the issue of recalibration to them.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: GREAT dog car, holds 14 bags of groceries, best MPG was 93.5, SF->LA->SF on one 10 gallon tank

Cons: No cruise control, not for fatties as it will bottom out, had to replace the batteries, but covered repair. Bad stereo. Headlights yellow with age.

Whatever — If you run out of battery, you have to operate the clutch differently and the car runs slow. Otherwise it can get up to 65 Miles per gallon on the highways. In the city it is more like in the 50s which isnt bad either.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its not a stupid mini van

Cons: Made of aluminum, so if you crash, you're dead.

Honda Insight, Love It Or Hate It — There is a lot of road noise on the freeway. It has an excellent turning radius. The gas mileage is amazing! The batteries that were originally put in go dead, but Honda replaces them under warranty. The interior is skimpy to save on the weight, but not having all the extra stuff is nice. The outside takes some getting used to with the wheel skirts, but I have come to like it. Overall it is a joy to drive and I look forward to getting every time.

Pros: good gas milage, turning radius, sporty in its own way

Cons: 2 seater, road noise, stopped production temporarily

Fun To Drive — This has been an amazing car in both quality and alot of fun to drive. Standard shift with enough pep to get up over the hills in a quick fashion. Gas milage has been 50-70 miles a gallon depending on hot or cold weather. It has 221,000 miles on the car and look forward to keeping it for one of the kids or grandchildren.

Pros: Great milage and low maintainance

Cons: Can't get it to go 120 mph

62 Mpg, Great For Commuting, But Only Two Seats — With the boost from the electric motor, the three cylinder engine performs more like a powerful four cylinder engine.

Pros: Milage - Sixty Two miles per gallon over the 90,000 miles on the car.

Cons: Only two seats

Amazing Gas Mileage And Fun To Drive — I get around 65mpg on average. Its still fun and even a little sporty. Cute looks and easy maitenence

Pros: Gas mileage, good looks, fun to drive

Cons: Its only a 2 seater and storage is kind of limited, but not much more than any other small car

Best $5k I've Ever Spent — Bought in 2005, this car is a daily commuter and road trip warrior. Depending how you drive it - I've average between 65 and 45 MPG. Tinted, blacked-out rims, subwoofer and custom 6x9 rear speakers - I love this car. Overall, a total of $1,000 put into this car for mechanical related issues (expensive fuel sensor) but nothing else (tires and oil changes).

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Amazing MPG, rear wheel covers, futuristic digital gauges, just keeps running, it confuses people

Cons: small
