Love This Car — I ordered this car from BMW when the new model came out in 2000. Manual transmission, sport package, convenience package black and tan. It still look and drives perfectly. Under 50k miles in 15 years! I want to keep it forever.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: handles great, timeless style

Cons: could use a little more horsepower

Ultimate Driving Machine On A Buget — Overall the 325i is a great car. I found it had sufficient power for the daily commute but lacked the adrenaline rush power of the M series or even the 330i. It handled well for a sedan and I really enjoyed driving it on my daily commute.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Styling, fuel efficiency, good power

Cons: Can be pricey to maintain.

Fantastic Car. Hard To Let Go Of It. — One of the best cars I have owned so far. I get about 28mpg on my daily commute to work which is 25 miles each way and mostly highway. Even after 13 years of age and 210000 miles this car looks like it's only a couple of years old.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very reliable, great stability, comfortable ride.

Cons: Repairs at BMW dealership can get pricy.

Would Buy Another — had 160k miles before things started coming up. Enjoyed driving it, handled very well. Paint held up to maine winters for many years and miles. Interior had minimal wear considering year and miles spent with ass in the seat. Top notch quality.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Decent little car, fun with great handling

Cons: Maintenance adds up at high miles

A Great Looking Car — To bad BMW didn't use some parts of better quality. There are certain things that are guaranteed to break early on. Coolant expansion tank for sure, Window regulators, CCV hoses also. But overall I love the car and don't plan on selling it anytime soon, even if it doesn have some cheaply made parts on it...

Pros: Great looks, good gas mileage

Cons: Some design flaws, maintenance costs

E46 328ci — The car has been a great car to drive and own as it is an easy car to operate, there are lots of possible modifications to this series and the is a car you can drive every day with no big issues.

Pros: I have owned BMWs since 1977 and the E46 body style has been one of my favourite series and this has to be one of my favourite years.

Cons: I have never driven the car in the winter because they have terrible traction .

The Green Lantern — Love this car would recommend this vehicle to several people who don't want to spend a lot of money and still ride in style and fix it up! I love the color and the handling and the rims are nice

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Women Loved it

    Cons: Gas Guzzler

Overall A Great Looking Entry Level Luxury Sports Coupe — I wish BMW would have put a some better made parts on these. The expansion tanks are guaranteed to bust and the the 2000-2001's the reverse drum will fail leaving you without or with limited availability to the reverse gear. I'm lucky since mine works about 80% of the time, others aren't as lucky. BMW says to put a new transmission in at a cost of around $5K. Repair parts can be obtained and it can be repaired for around $2K I've read though. It is a fun car to drive still looks great even with it being 13 years old.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: sporty looks, good handling, descent MPG

Cons: reliability, some cheaply made parts

Bmw 323ci — The ride is very nice and the handling is great. It is a little small inside, especially the back seat, but it is fine for my commute. Very comfortable inside and classy looking on the outside. It has a huge fuel tank so I can go about 420 miles between fill-ups, even with a heavy foot. I had to replace the engine because of a blown head gasket and, apparently, these engines are not always fixable when that happens. It has been very reliable other than that. The computer tracks oil age but I go about 15k between oil changes (synthetic oil). Parts are a little pricey, especially from the dealer, but there are a lot of third party sources available. Perhaps the weirdest thing is I need to mail-order the driver's side wiper blade insert since no American company makes that size, or a break-to-fit long enough.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A lot of fun to drive: decent power and great handling.

Cons: Had to replace the engine because of a blown head gasket but otherwise very reliable.
