This car has everything you would want and is in very good condition. I had an older model maxima until it was hit by a hit and run driver. This newer model has more features.Dec 31, 2022

Its a good car and even though its been used by person after person she still holds up. I recommend it full heartedly to anyone looking for a family vehicle but wants a little more zip to go with the safety.Mar 15, 2015

165,000 Miles and she still runs like she is brand new, the nissan VQ engine is a phenomanon, with just 3 liter the twin cam V-6 is just a dream, the power sometimes even surprises me, punch her and she takes off, drive mellow and she is serene, the only major item I have replaced is the alternator at 150,00 miles, she starts on the first start everytime, check engine light came on once, had to replace one of my direct coils, and that's all the work I've done, had 1987 Nissan Maxima before, had till 200,00 miles and until my brother overheated her and blew the head gasket, 110 deg La heat, 8 highschool kids in the car, A/C full blast, and paying no attention to the temp guage, would have rebuilt the engine if I had the time, The maxima has and will always be the 4DSC, the four door sports car, in my mindOct 10, 2012

Good Car has 220k miles on it. Only minor maintenance issues so far. It accelerates
quickly has good 40-70 time. So far its been not too expensive on ownership. It is
very fun to drive. Don't ever drive it after watching Fast and Furious though. It will
want to make you drive mush faster since it has that power and is considered a

car has a great fit and finish.all controls have a good solid feel.quality materials used that hold up well.styling of the vehicle never seems to date itself,has a sophisticated but sporty look for a four door!they recommend premium gas which does help with performance,but is not necessary.gas mileage is about 28-30 mpg combined driving.repairs are typically slightly higher than the average car,but reliability is worth the little extra!the car is fun to drive and the ride and performance are great.handles like a sports car when you run low profile michelin tires on it.had my maxima for 4 years and replaced the struts,drive axles,and egr valve.thats about it other than regular maintenance.runs smooth,quiet,and strong with 162000 miles!Apr 03, 2011

Before geting into specifics, car has 250k miles and except for general maintenance have had no issues (and bought w/ 90-100k miles). •Build Quality / •Cost of Ownership - excellent, excellent, excellent. Performance- v6 3.0L. FWD. very fast, people underestimate it
Build quality- No expensive repairs, just cosmetic or wearing break pads.
Appearance- Icelandic Pearl White, Low, Clean.
Fun Factor- very fun, great handling, and great reliability.
Cost- Great gas mileage for a v6, i get 24miles per gallon, which suits me well.

Its a great car for commuting, its pretty fun and handles well, yet is practical and comfortable for almost any situation. It is well built, and has good styling (for the time period). Gas is a little annoying, as it only gets 20 mpg as a sedan.Sep 23, 2009

they are some of the best cars out there. Great mix of
performance and practicality...strong, quick engine
that is very reliable and gets great gas mileage. Hasn't
needed any repairs, and is a very solidly built car.

i love the Bose sound system cause it sounds like i got a system when really i don't....its just two 6X9s....i get 34 MPG which is pretty awesome...however i usually don't baby it so most times than not it'll only get 12-13 lolMar 13, 2009

Classic 4 door styling. A perfectly respectable V6 with torque aplenty. 5 speed = fun; the AT is spotty anyway. Easy to work on, no major repairs have been needed yet. Gas tank is big and it takes at least 92 octane unless you want to change the knock sensor regularly.Oct 20, 2008

Powerful, stock she had 193HP basically the same as a stock mustang and camaro. Can out accelerate most four cylinder cars but she came with Bose audio stock plus power heated seats and mirrors. Gas mileage is amazing for the power and even when you' drive her spiritedly. Leather seat side bolsters are a little far for someone of my size. For a grocery getter family car she hauls and corners very well, much more so if you modify the suspension!Jul 14, 2008

I owned a 1999 Maxima, manual transmission, SE for three years. It was a great car with plenty of room inside for three car seats across the back seat! Though the styling was a little plain Jane, the engine was a blast and it got good mileage on the highway. It was a very comfortable ride.Jun 23, 2007

Alternator Not Charging Battery, need help on charging kit
Currently , I've had a issue to where my alternator is not charging my battery. I've already replaced a few things before this such as Starter Alternator Battery The new battery I purchased was a gold one and the car died a month a later and can only be revied by a jump. After inspecting the battery at AutoZone they told me the alternator looked fine as well as the battery but there could be an electric fuse causing the alternator to not charge the battery. Is it that or is the alternator just bad? What kind of charging kit could I purchase to swap out the charging /ground lines if it is the charging system?
