I’ve owned 2 of these cars, One was a 4cyl and the other was a 6cyl…These cars are extremely reliable, fuel efficient and easy to work on as YouTube has become my best friend when it comes to maintenance for my cars. Highly recommend buying one of these amazing automobiles.Aug 19, 2023

Too expensive to fix. But has never left me stranded anywhere and me and this car have been together for over 4 years! Drives smoother than anything I have been in before though. This is my baby and once I sell it I will miss it. Makes you want only luxury cars though. A honda or ford will never cut it again.Nov 05, 2010

I bought this car in 2004, and I havent had any problems with it. It runs smooth and quiet on highways, however is bit noisy on the streets when you accelerate.
The car is fun to drive, still has the Mercedes Benz feeling " Classic, Elegant" Can be expensive to keep it like brand new; however, if you have one of these babys, you will invest your money worthly. I love this Benz, the only I wish is that Mercedes in the future creates adaptors for ipods and navigation systems. Oct 11, 2010

The power that this car has is great but the supercharger took to long to kick in. It has been years since the police have followed me because of the car I drove. The brakes are an upgrade to amg which worked better when you drove the car a ways. The outside looked great but the inside seem to be cheap looking.Jul 12, 2010

Impressive performance for the money; acceleration was good. Although, more power on hand before the supercharger kicked in would've been nice. Superior built quality. Mercedes-Benz without issues experienced by later MB's due to the ghastly merger with Chrysler. Beautiful, "restrained but classy" exterior design. Interior deign absolutely beautiful for its price. Should have come standard with electronically adjustable front passenger seat! No maintenance issues at all. The drive was classic Mercedes-Benz; nice, heavy, smooth, gliding ride quality.Dec 20, 2009

Amazing acceleration and braking, tracks just like on rails. Nice array of equipment. Parts cost reasonable, dealership service is exemplary. Does 9 L/100 km highway driving, about 14 L/100 km in town. And great, supportive Multi-Contour front seats too!May 30, 2009

I wish there was a way to get more horse power out of the car. Performs wonderfully, but I want there to be better acceleration. The electronically controlled throttle doesn't help at all...but I love her, and her name is Olivia! Mercedes did a good job on the updates after 98, but fell off with its successor. As always i am constantly doing stuff to her. Right now it has been lowered, Eibach springs and Blistien sport shocks riding on 17 inch wheels, 18s were too heavy, Wheels are deep-dish with black body color centers and chrome lip. Light tan leather interior. Exhaust is next on the list. The search for more power never ends.Jun 12, 2008

I drove it for 6 years, it never ever failed me! I replaced the aircon unit at 140000km's, Now my wife drives it. this is the most bullet proof car I've ever had, Not fast, but fast enough, not big but big enough.
It was a little soft in the handling area, 2 weeks after I bought it I binned it into a barrier, trying to drive it like the astra....didn't work, only cost me about 400.00 bucks to fix though, it is a solid car!Nov 25, 2007
