The Best Of The Best American Assembled Automobiles — Wondering why the Lincoln product line always holds its value longer than comparable cars, like the gas hog Lexus', Infinities, Cadillac? Long after the engine components, and body parts of these expensive foreigner and domestic Luxury Cars have failed, the Lincoln products just keep on keep-in' on.. I know... I know.. But it's an old car...!! I just hope I get another 100,000 miles from this machinery...

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car's engine is a great performer. If the computer is reporting correctly, I get about 28 MPG on the highway. Thats right!! The 4.6L V8 luxury sedan car that ways over 4,000 Lbs. cost about $200 bucks for every 1250 miles on the Interstate.
    Econo-Boxes get what?
Paid off a long time ago!!

Cons: The cost of maintenance is still cheaper than car payments, but the fact is more Engine Peripheral, i.e. (alternator, and pumps are starting to go).
What ya expect at 240,000 miles.

The Car Is A Classy, Smooth Ride That Is Heavy Enough To Be Very Safe In With My Kids. — the car is pretty. It's fast. I love having a V-8. Gas is expensive b/c I put in premium. The only things wrong, is the headliner is sagging in front and back and the headlight collects moisture, and has electrical issues. The driver seat forward and back is broken. It's in the far back position. Only tall people can drive this now.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: It's fast and smooth

Cons: it sucks up a lot of gas.

Decent, Better Than Most, But Not A Good Bench Mark — While this pretty boat of a car looks impressive with a V8 under the hood, it lacks in performance with the front wheel drive and the four speed automatic. It really chokes the power. As for the interior, very nice if you can keep it clean. Real wood inserts would have been impressive. Good stock stereo system. Big trunk. Otherwise, if you wanted a car like this, buy a Taurus.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's "luxury" and a decent "cruising" vehicle

Cons: Not as nice as it looks

Great Car — One of the best cars I ever owned had toi give it up when my aunt died in 2004 to take over my current car. a 1995 Blazer. I really miss my lincoln though it was a sweet ride for me fully loaded with large sun roof almost like a limo but it was fun friends loved it kids thought it was a ship lol.

Pros: Everything was nice and Comfy

Cons: Nothing sorry i had to get rid of it though :(

Lincoln Continental — This car features electronically controlled air struts so you can adjust the suspension from firm over normal to plush. After 232,000 miles, that's how many mine has on it as of now, there are a few issues (mainly computer error which don't affect the car, just the info terminal) and the suspension needs some work. Otherwise a still strong running front wheeler which will take me trough the michigan winters hopefully fairly well. another big plus is the stock Alpine stereo system with a truly amazing sound quality and it's actually one of the few Ford/Mercury/Lincoln's I've owned with a working keyless entry and codes that work.

Pros: 4.6 Intech V8, air-ride, FWD (during winter)

Cons: air-ride (fixing it is a pain)

Impressive — I never thought an American made car would run and handle as well as this one does. It is very smooth on the freeway. Being a luxury car I like the air shocks it has and this is probably how it rides so smooth. I also like the feeling that it is a car you would be safe in if you were ever in an accident.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The car looks elegant. It is very comfortable and does well in town or on the freeway.

Cons: Transmission slips sometimes after I had the transmission rebuilt 2 years ago but it has not presented a problem for me.

Blah — Minus the fact that it was a loaner car from time to time it has its ups an downs like any over powered FF. NEver ever PUt a V8 in the front of a frontwheel drive car. After having been driven 135k miles it still somewhat presentable on the red carpet, all things considered the car is ok but needs SHOCK, struts, an an over haul.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: 23MPG highway, 19MPG city

    Cons: suspension, tape player, FF.
