$5,000 Ish.. — This car runs great and all works very well.Exterior is very good. Interior is nice however the seats have become torn and it now has seat covers on the front bucket seats and shows much better. Engine is excellent and doesn't miss a beat. It is very quick and smooth. Clarion stereo system, power windows, locks, sunroof, like new tires. It has recently had new rear wheel bearings, clutch, head gasket, radiator, interior head liner and thouroughly gone through by a BMW specific mechanic. It is an absolute sports car in good condition.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun and smooth drive. Think I've already fixed all that this car needs and still has alot more life.

Cons: nothing, i just don't need it!

Best Bang For Bucks Ratio — Great, understated looks - still! Fantastic performance, amazing BMW build quality, handles like a dream just like a BMW M3 should. Good gas mileage if driven normally. Maintenance and replacement parts are a bit pricey but they don't fail that often.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance, Looks and BMW bonus!

Cons: Maintenance costs but that's about it.

Just Drive 1 — best car ever made on the world! lot of hp,lightweight, 50-50 weight ratio 0-60 in less than 5 seconds the car is very sexy,specially with angel or devil eyes it has no problems at all, just take care of it ! The fun u get is awesome !

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: serious?

Cons: too much hp,cant get enough

Alot Of Fun To Be Had For Cheap If You Do Your Own Maintenance. — beautiful car, kinda looks like a civic. the handling is absolutely incredible. there is alot of car for the price. kinda a pain in the ass to drive when your in traffic, but when you get it out on the open road you just cant beat it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun, fast, attractive. women love this car.

Cons: the price. basic maintenance is stupid expensive.

Bmw M3 Mpower! — This car is amazing extremely fast! with an intake exhaust and a chip my car does 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds. The maintence is pretty expensive but not terrible. Gets decent mileage around 20 mpg so much fun

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: very fast

Cons: expensive

My E36 M3 — The ///M badge says it all.... Performance and Handling all the way! My E36 M3 is pretty much stock and it handles like a dream on the track! Hopefully soon I am going to replace the stock suspension with Biltstein shocks and H&R springs and probably look into R-compound tires for the track on lighter wheels. Cost of Ownership - Set aside a budget of $XXX /year and you will not regret. Fun Factor - HIGH!!!! Switch the ASC off, spray some water and get a lead foot....yeeehaaaww!!!!

Pros: Everything

Cons: Almost Nothing...

All In All An Excellent — i love the m3 as its an everyday driver just a bit thirsty. very reliable and is controllable when going sideways downside its its a bit dated in looks and exspensive parts but i will own a newer one when funds allow me to i haves always loved bmws so i will be with them for a while

Pros: still is quicker than most newer cars

Cons: very exspensive to run

The Ultimate Driving Machine — 1996 BMW M3. 3.2 liter Inline-6, 5-speed Manual Transmission. Silver on Black. Limited Slip Differential, Traction Control, Leather Seats, Heated Seats, Power Seats, Sunroof, Electronic Climate Control. This car has eveything you need. Its fast and sporty, but comfortable at the same time. Do 155mph and not even know it. This car feels like its on rails while taking turns at high speed, and stops on a dime, lots of confidence behind the wheel. The only con I have is the stock sound system is sub-par and was one of the first thing I changed. There arn't many nice E36 M3's out there, real ones atleast. The car is not meant to be a head turner, but I do get compliments. Great Car.

Pros: Acceleration, Handling, Braking, Visibility, Comfort

Cons: Sound System

Was A Fun Car To Drive. Not Comfortable For Long Disntances. Had Racing Seats. — Bought the car new in 1996. I will post some of my pictures soon. I had a lot of fun driving the car. Very fast for the year.

Pros: At the time. Speed. Handeling is very good. Shut off the anti slip and have some fun.  

Cons: Tires burn off fast. 8 to 12k miles at most.  If you don't drive like a grandma and why would you have this car and do that. Tires wear on the outside edge be careful.  The inside can be smooth and you won't see it.
