have a 2-wire connector laying unhooked next to fuse relay control box. Dark green and a black wire male connector, have no idea where the female end it "was" connected to is at, horns not working as i get no power to the actual horn connection at the horn. Wondered if this might be the problem.
I passed smog but my NO was borderline high....took off EGR to clean it but it was really clean.... thinking maybe there is a blockage in one of the passages....how should I go about testing the EGR valve and system in general?
Is it ok to keep my 95 gmc k1500 in 4low when I shut the engine off. Need to use 4 low to drive about 100 yards down to a river and worried I wont have the room to put it back in 4 low if I take it out of 4 low. This is a very steep grade. 4 low is a must.
I got a 5.7 liter engine from a 99 suburban.took my motor out of my 95 suburban and put the heads and intake manifold on the 99 engine block.. I noticed it's got a crank sensor plug and the 95 engine does not.. will the 99 engine work if I have no plug for the crank sensor?
I have a 1995 GMC Suburban K2500 with a 5.7 engine. I have a new battery. New starter. New ignition wiring harness. All lights,radio, etc. works but wont start. It is getting 12.4 v at the starter on the small wire when you turn the key. I have jumped the purple and yellow wire at the transmission safety switch. Any other ideas???
