Has been a great truck--- Performs,handles, accelerates, and drives amazing. Would most definately own another. In 4x4 it handles smooth not like other 4x4's. Parts are cheap and very easy to maintain and repairs and services are fairly reasonable ... Mar 10, 2014

I loved the fact that is was lowered making it easy to enter & exit, it was very powerful yet not an extreme gas hog and it was very comfortable with 2 adults & 6 kids traveling and it was nice to look at.Jun 18, 2013

I am very happy with my Suburban. I have had no major issues and relatively few maintenance requirements. I could probably count on one hand the number of repairs I've had to make. It's 12 years old and still going strong.Nov 03, 2011

A nice v8 engine automatic , 3 rows of seats, $20,000 at the time not worth that much now, nice ride and nice seats not leather, very fun car to drive, gets up to 100 mile an hour at top speed, can pimp well if have the money to + 4x4.Mar 23, 2011

Im building this truck right now and it will be some time before I am done. Ive only got exhaust and intake for engine performance right now. Im going to be buying an Edelbrock manifold and an Injen Tuned Intake to replace my K&N. Its got a complete suspension by DJM. Shocks struts, coils and springs lower it to about 6''. With a strong frame and large size it is excellent at moving large and/or heavy loads. We tow our boat, a 22' Boston Whaler Revenge (which weighs about 4700lbs with a full tank of gas). It is very roomy on the inside with an ability to hold a decent amount of people. Overall it is the bulldog of SUVs.Sep 14, 2008

Hi i have an 99 gmc suburban i have to correct the steering. i can drive in the middle of the road and the steering wheel will be either more to the left or more to the right about 2inches i have replaced everything on the front end. I cant figure out why i have so much play in my steering any information would be great

Misfire, won't start but turns over
Hi, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban 5.7 L engine c1500. My trucks just shut off on me in a drive- thru. My husband thought it was out of gas. We put gas in and it crunk up ( after we did the three prime crank method). We drove 1/4 of a mile and then it just cut off again. We put more gas in and it still wouldn't crank. The fuel pump turns on and the wires and spark plugs have been replaced. We have replaced the ignition control module, the crank shaft sensor and the coil and it still won't crank. Gas is getting to the right areas like they are supposed to. Someone told us that the trucks computer is gone bad. We have already spent about $195.00, can anyone save us some money, please? Should we let this man replace the computer or is it something else?
