No crank no start
I have a 96 GMC Suburban you turn the key on all the lights work but it will not turn over it does not click or anything it has a new starter and still nothing checked all the relays they are fine

This vehicle was bought as a hunting and skiing vehicle. Since then we have towed just about everything under the sun and pulled many people out of ditches. Verstatile to do anything and haul up to 9 people. Roof rack is rated at 250 # and holds every bit of that and more. Best group transport or moving vehicle for the average person.Sep 25, 2013

This is a great vehicle. Rugged, and will do anything asked of it. Gas mileage a bit poor, but will haul eight people with luggage in a blizzard towing a boat. Currently sitting at 170k this vehicle has never left me stranded. Solid, cheap to maintain, and a confortable workhorse of a truck. The Vortec 454 still has plenty of power and sounds really healthy and is capable of moving this beast around with ease. With all of the seats folded down the cargo area is the size of a large pickup bed.Aug 14, 2010

IT looks awesome. Its fast. I like it. Everyone should love it. Very reliable. I like the interior. I like the color. Its fun to drive and comfortable to drive. Gas tank is sweet fill up every 600 miles. It needs the rear passenger door fixed? Other than that its awesomeDec 11, 2009

its a nice vehicle for pullin trailers, it seats 8 so we can take lots of ppl anywhere, but not its mainly just our beater, my dad hit a few deer in it so we now call it the deer slayer

its big and takes up lots of space... scares other drivers when yiu change lanes ..... lol........rides smooth and gets decent mpg for a very large s.u.v. seats 8 and 10 beer coolers full of your favorite adult beverage...my wife and step daughters love driving this big truck even though they all drive small cars..and you can fit a compact s.u.v in the back Jun 28, 2009

I love the feeling of not fearing bad weather conditions. The body is strudy and I love having all of the cargo space as well as space to haul more than just us. It gives you the feeling of having a truck with the functionality of a larger passenger vehicle.May 06, 2009

What users have asked
all doors, except the drives door, locked and cannot be unlocked
96 gmc suburban with no way to unlock any of the doors except the drivers door. no fob, no key, not manually! drivers door can be locked manually or with the key but you only hear a click under the dash if using the lock btn from either the drivers or pass door lock button. makes no difference how the lock/normal button is set. The actuators appear to be locked since i cannot manually or key unlock(pass/barn door). i disconnected the battery to no avail! not sure how to test anything on any of the doors as they are shut and locked! fyi, pwr windows work fine. any clue on how to get inside the doors would be a big help! This happened on a long trip and my daughter did hit the lock button on the pass side at some point. i'm wondering if she could have held the lock btn down and shorted something. not sure but i'll guess all the other doors are in series electrically and come after the pass door. I've seen lots of talk about the actuators but a year or two ago i replaced them all and the lock relay. I just don't get how they can't be unlocked manually or with the key unless the actuator is somehow locked as if it's in some child lock mode but as i previous mentioned, the "lock" is not on on the drivers door.

why is my gmc suburban temp gauge fluctuating
a few days ago my temp gauge started to fluctuate and at times goes in the red zone and the check gauges light comes on and i get no heat, then it goes back down and i get heat. at times it stays steady and then starts to fluctuate. i changed the thermostat, belt and the coolant level is ok. the water pump is 3 years old and the rediator is 4 years old the head gaskets check out ok. does anyone have any suggestions?
