The 1994 Firebird might be best known as the model year that returned the convertible to its rightful place in the pony-car line. In the 1994 model, the differences between the base model engine and the Formula and Trans Am are rather stark. The latter two were much more powerful, while many users have cited problems getting off the line in the base.

The steeply inclined windshield contributes to the all-over sporty feel of all models. Debris from the road grazes off of it with hardly a mark left. Like many models of Firebird, there are a few problems: the ABS, speedometer, and windshield wipers have all been noted as potential weak spots.

The softtop does its best to have all of the amenities of a regular coupe, including a rear defogger.

Yeap! That's my car! Too bad I created my car gurus account a long time ago and I don't remember the email neither the password. I bought it in Mississippi while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base from another airman back in 2005. He was transferred to Germany and he sold it to me. He bought it originally when he was stationed near Alaska. The car had every option available for 1994. When I bought it, I added the front Firehawk fog lights and the newer 1995 OEM wheels. The car was a 6-speed. It was quick. And believe it or not, I bought the car for $3,500 back in 2005 in Mississippi and sold it in 2011 in Puerto Rico. I regret selling it. The interiors were charcoal gray leather. And it was a very quick car, and I used to receive a lot of compliments. Loved that car!Aug 01, 2026

I was pleasantly surprised of the features of this vehicle, as it is a 1994. that said, it has all the features and more, than I expected. Excellent value, as it has only 21,900 original miles, as advertised. The car was not missing anything. Same year other similar models would be; Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Formulas, and T/As.Jun 03, 2020
