Plan To Keep It Forever! — I love the look of this vehicle and honestly dont see anything out there even today that i like as well. Its just a classic boxy rugged looking beauty! Extremely reliable, easy to drive, great vision and not so huge as to cause a problem parking and maneuvering in traffic. The older it gets the more im glad i have it!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great look. Very reliable. Comfortable to drive and very rugged

Cons: gas mileage not good and power not the best

Overall, I Would Tell Anyone You Would Definately Get Your Moneys Worth Out Of A Pathfinder — Cannot complain a whole lot about my pathfinder. with a 190k its a phenomenal running machine. 4x4 is great, ac is just as cold as it was in 94, no doubt i will get another 100k out of my pathfinder. my only concern is the check engine light has been on for about 10k and it says o2 sensor or o2 wire..i put a brand new o2 sensor on it and it didn't fix it. runs and drives like a champ, that engine light is just an eye sore, any suggestions

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: awesome 4x4

Cons: gas mileage not too great but not horrible

Nissan 4wd (terrano) — Good old reliable Nissan Terrano 2.7Litre Turbo Diesel just keeps going along. Use mainly as day to day transport and some off road frolics now and then. 4WD works well hasn't let me down, however I don't do any really exciting tracks in it, I'm too old to get stuck in mud and snow these days. Very good economy, just what you expect from diesel, could use a bit more power though. Comfortable enough to drive all day on regular roads, I have driven more than 1000kms in one day with no problems even when towing large trailer.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Solid, reliable,economical

    Cons: Needs more power

One Of The Best Vehicles You Can Own For Utility, Fun, And Overall Quality. — Got it in 2005, with 90,XXX miles. Now she has only 126,XXX and it is very healthy. I have only had a few minor fix-its: a stuck brake caliper and an idle issue. Great truck, but it is really prone to rust, especially around the fender flares. So CLEAN YOUR RUST BEFORE IT EATS HOLES IN THE METAL.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Low maintainence

Cons: Can get tippy, rust is real common on these

Loving My Pathfinder — I love the my car. I'm not looking for fast acceleration but when I need it to go it will giddyup. The braking is excellent and it needs some rough handling from the driver. The starter went bad on it so that needed repairing. There are no squeaks or queer noises. The body is blue along with the interior. The bodystyle for me is magnificient. The tire bracket with the tire is not on mine and it makes it unusual, different and stylish. The interior does not rele matter to me as long as I have a place to sit while i shift gears, brake, and accelerate. I purchased it with 189k miles and put on about 7k in a year and ive had to get a new battery and a starter. I take my pathfinder off-road with no special tires or 4wd. Spectactular

    Pros: bodystyle, 5 spd, braking

Cons: driver doorlock broke and the window roller handle broken

A Fun Car — This was my hunting car. A real 4x4, I took it off road and had a lot of fun. Fully equipped, leather heated seats, suspension can be modified for smooth or stiff. This is a gas burner car, I did 15L/100KM. It is not a rust proof car after all.

    Pros: Real 4x4

Cons: drinks a lot of gas

The (nearly) Unkillable Machine! — this is my second Pathfinder- 5speed, 4x4 has ALL the extras, power everything, clicker, alarm, nerf bars, brush guard, tire swing, moon roof, CUP HOLDERS*, 6 disc changer, and more cubby holes and smuggling compartments than the millennium falcon... all of that extra pretty weighs it down compared to my old Pathfinder with was VERY spartan

Pros: PLUSH! every amenity an early 90's japanese SUV could have was there with out being too soft to be an infiniti- responds well to love (i kiss at it everytime i walk by just so it will work)

Cons: a little too plush... im one of those guys who can't have nice things... most of the pretty that looked REALLY GOOD when i got the truck... was broken very shortly after

Great Suv Even If Left Stock. — Overall quality keeps up with nissan standards of greatness. Engine is very reliable, as well as drivetrain. Handles well for an suv and acceleration tops all others in its class. Is a great candidate to get bagged and dropped like i am doing. Interior design once again is great, especially the 8 speaker sound system. Will look amazing after im done dropping it, shaving it, and swapping in a tt z engine and suspension. :)

Pros: Easy to drop, good interior.

Cons: Bad frame design, rusts easy.

Great Vehicle. — These models are great in the snow or driving off road. Gas mileage is not good, but that is to be expected for a 6 cylinder truck. These are very reliable, known to drive for 300,000 miles in some cases. Repairs are cheap, parts are cheap. Not many can be found today. Most people junk them. If they took care of them, they will last many years.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Reliability, cheap parts, great in snow.

Cons: Not great gas mileage, these trucks have a susceptibility to rust in winter climates.
