1995 Caprice engine fit a 1993 Caprice??
I know a small block 350 fit my 1993 Caprice but will any of the caprices from 1994 to 1996 fit the 1993 Caprice?? And will it be legal in California.

The Impala made its triumphant return in 1994. Not only was it back, but it was back in style: the SS nameplate was revived just for this car. The 1994 Impala was the first-ever Chevrolet to be an "SS," and the first Impala SS in a quarter of a century. The SS was available only in black and was a rear-wheel drive car, paying respect to the SS's of old.
The standard engine was a 5.7-liter V8 rated at 260 horsepower. Much smallerthan its predecessors, the 1994 Impala was quick, and much more nimble due in part to its 115.9-inch wheelbase.

solid interior and ext. minor problems overall great car

major audio system-my major expertise
intake done.
possibly upgrade to a mild cam, rollers, lifters and headers?

i love big land yaughts and the impala is one of the biggest and baddest cars you can get your hands on.absolutely comfortable and fast it puts a sneer on your face every time i take it out for a run.destroys little souped up civics and other rice runners and if they get in front of you i just catch up and drive over them,hurrah for 2 plus tons of american iron!Jan 22, 2008

94 impala just shut off gas flowing slow from fuel pump changed filter also put new fuel pump in ran for about 30 minutes shut off and won't crank like it did with old fuel pump ,
I ran a hose from the fuel supply line on the fuel pump and its pumping as if it's draining with no pressure
