1993 Honda Civic Hatchback Dx — Performance - D15B7 Automatic Transmission, Not very fast, Good car to go from point A to point B. Suspension is decent as long as you dont use 17, 18 Rims (makes the car have a rough drive). The breaking is decent. Build Quality - Thin sheet Metal, Easy to get dents, Oil does burn if your Piston Rings are not in good shape. Appearance - Interior is mostly all plastic. The stock Seats feel very comfort, has room for 2 more people in back. Decent trunk space. Cost of Ownership - 24 dollars to fill the tank every week. Fun Factor - Fun car to modifiy and swap engines for beginner Tuners.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good Daily Driver car.

Cons: Thin sheet metal, Rust, Plastic interior.

Great Car! Keep It Maintained, And It Will Last Forever! — Has been a great car the year and a half I have owned it. Enough power to be really fun to drive. I happen to know it can get into the 120 Mph range. The LX had the 2nd least powerful engine as well! I drive my vehicles VERY hard, and this one has held up fairly well all things considered! I usually get about 34 Mpg. Mainly related to the age of the car, but I have had to put some money into it. The shocks were getting a little sad and needed to be replaced, as well as front and rear lover control arms (all of which I did myself). The one big expense was when my transmission crapped out on me. Looking back I should have replaced it myself, but I just had someone put a low miles one in for me for about $1200. I have a sneaky suspicion it was abused before though. I also got mine cheap because the speedo was erratic. I purchased a gauge cluster and transplanted the electrics for $60, and it is good as new!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good fuel economy, fun to drive, will last forever if maintained.

Cons: Due to age, needs some upkeep. Driver seat rips on vinyl.

Preetty Good — i love how it handles and how it eats 1.8 motors for breakfast and its a 1.6 lol great on gas also 38.50 fills my tank up so nicely good mileage also Hondas will never die ctfu deff corners very well motor has 140k just added the rear disc conversion its way better braking poweer

Pros: its a 4dr duhhh lol

Cons: runs mint execpt recently doesnt wanna go into gear smh

Good — I have this car for two years now and i got it with everything original on it so after time you know you will have to fix or change it. As i said there is a few things that will be needed to fix on it its not perfect but can be if your willing to do it.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Its a nice car love it and always will

Cons: A few things need to be changed

Civic Vti Sir 2 — the performance good to say the car was made for old people i guess the breaking was good always get drilled and groved + vented the handerling is good when u have decent springs and shocks and the build quality not good going into tow bars the apperance was poor and the inside old grandad style but a fun car to drive hope to get a better one

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: shame about the outside but what an engine !!!!

Cons: the look of it!!!!!

Honda Lovers Baby — Enjoy it very much simple,all around good and fun to drive. Nicer than most civics on the road. Lowered suspension shakes rear end a bit on bumps. Driving on the freeway cockpit has minor freeway noise but great considering its a 1993. Love it!!

Pros: Excellent fuel economy,inexpensive to maintain, comfortable.

Cons: Currently does not have alot of hp.130

The Best — it is the best from Honda acceleration , handling and interior is the best of this car ., really it is the best and i love it ., yeah it is fun to drive it too low cost also , i LOVE it thanks

Step 1: Lower It. Step 2: Engine Swap Step 3: Love It Step 4: Rinse And Repeat — i like it but its not nearly fast enough for me lol. its nice and cheap to run. parts are very plentyful. i really like the shape of the car. always needs to be lower though mines not low enough

Pros: its fun nice reliable pretty peppy compared to some cars

Perfect — I love my honda <3 Good reliable motor easy to build easy to drive tons of after market parts anywhere you look great mileage the best cars in my book. And hondas are made in america now so any argument over "american" made cars goes out the window
