The public wondered how Cadillac could top the changes it made to the Seville in 1992. In 1993, Cadillac took the 4.6 L, 295 hp V8 Northstar engine from the 1993 Allante and transplanted it into the Seville STS. The change resulted in the best handling and performance the Seville had ever delivered to its consumers. This midsize sedan still came in 2 trims: the STS and the STD, which used the same 4.9 L, 200 hp V8 from the previous year. Otherwise, both trims come with 4 speed automatic transmission and deliver 16 mpg in the city, 25 mpg on the highway. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and ABS brakes. Leather seats come optional on the STD and standard on the STS while sunroof comes optional on both trims. The Seville has 4 doors and seats 5. In short, drivers say that the 1993 Seville has it all: power, handling, and performance. Reviewers especially like the new Northstar engine in the STS. However, they also warn that the transmission requires extra maintenance and that repairs can get expensive. Despite these issues, the 1993 Cadillac Seville further confirmed the renaissance that the franchise experienced in the early to mid '90's.

How anyone can drive anything else is beyond me! Warning..Don't race one. Today there is nothing close to the style comfort safety incredible performance handling braking and general sophistication of this extraordinary car! It signals the end of an era. The car is an Icon.Jul 29, 2014

Appearance: Exterior is in Good condition. Interior Is Great/Immaqulate
Build quality: Electric Front seating makes drivabilty Excellent. Repair cost can be costly and gas milage ranges from 12 to 17 city/19 to 26 HWY.

Hi, I've owned the 1993 Cadillac Seville STS for 10 years and absolutely love it. Yes, it needs the usual repairs, but no more than any other car I've owned... I've found a few excellent mechanics... the dealership is more expensive than a good independent service station. I've since inherited a Chrysler 300M and drive it occasionally, but always prefer the Cadillac... it's a DREAM drive... acceleration is like a rocket ship... the drive is so comfortable, it's like gliding on a cloud, just the way the center of gravity makes one feel balanced... unlike other cars I've owned including Honda and Toyota. Performance - brakes went bad a lot, accelerated fast
Build Quality - dents and rust
Appearance - interior burn holes, things broken.
Cost of Ownership -gas mileage was bad! maintenance was really expensive
Fun Factor - it was fun sometimes, but alot of the time it sucked

300hp, 15/per galon 24 on the freeway.. its really fast,drives
very smooth, parts are expensive but its worth it.. leather
interior, white-pearl color.. goodyear tires. northstar engine,
sounds system, abs breaks,anti lock system, traction control

My car is built like a tank, with a large frame that shields the cab from harm in a crash as well as double-sealed doors and a locking system that make it virtually impossible to ransack or break into. It weighs about 5,000 lbs - heavy for a sedan - but the V8 engine allows for quick acceleration and an impressive maximum speed (at which I have never driven it, don't worry). Also, it steers and brakes more responsively than my mother's Toyota Camry, which is newer and significantly lighter. Dsepite the fact that my suspension is shot, the car rides smoothly on the road, as Cadillacs are well known to do. The inside of the cab is huge, with plenty of space for taller passengers and all their stuff (good, since I'm a coxie). The car gets an average of 22.1 mpg.
The car is white with a red leather interior. It was custom built for my grandfather and it has been used to teach everyone on that side of my family to drive; coincidentally, all women. Despite several paint chips, a bent fender, and a few missing lower door panels, the car performs on a higher standard than the average family car.
This car was built to last. It is executing the above described performance with almost 190,000 miles on the odometer. Jul 26, 2008
