Liked the standard transmission but also why I'm selling it. My wife has no desire to learn to drive a standard. So we just bought a different car off Carguru's that pleases both of us. Very reliable car, runs beautifully.Aug 28, 2012

Its an Evo without the price tag. I love this car. It has included options my EVO X didn't even have available. Its very quick and the interior design couldn't be better. The car has never seen snow or ice, that rating is an "expected" rating. Lots of performance and styling parts are still available on the internet for this model... which really isn't all to surprising since its such a nice machine. This one- 52K no winters and only a few days of rain... Spotless!!Mar 03, 2012

This has been a learning experience. But all in all I am enjoying putting this one back together. Interferance motor. found out what that ment when timing belt was not put on properly. Took out intake valves on front bank. Jan 29, 2012

Excellent power right out of the box. Way too much fun to drive, turbos still rock 20 years later. Styling still looks current, even though the car is so old. Cost to operate is a bit high, I only use full synthetic oils in it to prolong turbo life, 3k mile oil changes. Only downside is you had better be a mechanic if you own one, or be willing to become one, as getting anything fixed at a dealer/shop is outrageous.Oct 01, 2011

The car handles well. I have minimal problems with it. It sucks in the winter, but I usually use it as a summer car anyways. It sounds beasty, and it's quick, but it's still no match for my wicked twin turbo. He tries though :)Nov 03, 2010

I love the 3000GT its my dream car she is just a pain to work on no space but i wouldnt trade her for the world. She is new to me had her since Feb2010. I have got the top and bottom rebuild on the motor to get her working better. She is in excellent condition to be a 91.Aug 25, 2010

great handling. Great interior would like to own a vr-4 someday but the sl was a slot of fun. One of the easiest cars to Tear down and repair anything on. Would not recomend the 5 speed transmission. Well built car.Jul 30, 2010

came out in 1990 with a 3.0 twin turbo v6 making over 300 hp, active exhaust, active suspension, active aerodynamics, full digital climate control and looks to match. Because the car was so endowed with electronics for the time period the sticker price was very high. Mid forty for a tt model, back in the early nineties. My 3000gt is a one of a kind..its a 91 with a 96 conversion..it has 96 front bumper fenders doors sideskirt..the interior is also all from a 96..it has nice racing seats that i plan on getting redone..car is fast as hell for a n/a hoping for turbo conversion after rebuild this coming fall..Jan 28, 2010

Overall it isn't a bad car the base version 3k could be a little faster off the line but the top speed is amazing there also kinda rare i dont see too many of these around here which is nice but hard to find parts for but overall a great car.Nov 14, 2009

Great car but the engine is always the big problem. Overheating is usually the biggest problem with the vr4. Sexy as the day is long. It was ball to drive but a heavy car. My favorite looking car. I really want a 99 vr4. that is the balls nastiest car in the world.Sep 25, 2009

This car is the fastest car I've ever driven personally... I got going 165 mph in it one night... it was awesome I never thought I'd be able to go that fast in something with 4 wheels... Quick, comfortable, luxurious, beautiful inside and out. Timeless style. pain in the ass to upgrade but well worth it. Can be a bit expensive with 2 huge turbos put on it. This car is highly modified and not street legal in California. It's a blast to drive, but definitely not made for driving in the snow. It's my Batmobile! And while it's not for sale, I might entertain the right offer if someone were interested in buying it.Jul 17, 2009

Look at it and read the description - what's not to like?!!! It's 3.0L 24 valve V6 is a good enough reason to love it, not to mention the spec of it's extras for it's age and mine has leather interior which appears to be quite rare. Extremely advanced car for being a '91. Performance is great as well, stock VR4's will run 13's and with a boost controller you can see high 12's. Bigger sized car, but a lot of motor to back it up. Gets looks wherever i go, and has enough power to put that Z28, SS or Mustang GT back a couple cars. AMAZING CAR for its time and still is a wonderful. Expect to pay to play though, maintenance isn't cheap if you break something. 3Nov 13, 2008

The AWD and twin turbos makes taking off AMAZING. It just jumps off the line. Its a quality car, but with 180,000 miles there are minor engine problems. This is a true sports car, and it handles and accelerates like one. It has tons of fancy fun gadgets like active aerodynamics and suspension. The interior is very welcoming and comfortable. It even FEELS like you're driving a racecar. It is a very sexy and intimidating car, and is a ton of fun to drive. Great for racing or just cruising.Oct 23, 2008

What I love about my car? Wel lets see, it pretty much rocks! I've beat almost every car I've raced, can pass a long line of cars on the road like they're standing still! It doesn't look too bad either. It sits nice and low and very wide giving it a very mean look. The acceleration isn't the greatest but once you hit second gear its like see ya! Oct 03, 2008

This car is a lot of fun. It's quick especially when you put a little work into it. It jumps off the line since it has All Wheel Drive. The biggest disadvantage is it's a heavy car so it's not as quick as a little Honda, but the turbos help with that. It is very fun to drive. My favorite car I've ever owned! Jul 17, 2008

I love everything about the 3000gt. It is one of the most innovate cars Mitsubishi has ever put out. As well as its counter part the Dodge Stealth. Very advanced for its time. I only wish mine was the twin turbo.Jun 26, 2008

Well, I love this car very much. I think it's the best car I've ever drove. The car has 4WS & 4WD, ECS, Active Aero & Twin Turbo Intercooler. The handling is pretty good, even better if you drive with the Active Aero. Active Aero helps the car to have a good roadgrip. When you pass 80km/h there is a spoiler beyond your frontspoiler that lowers down, the spoiler on your hatch raises, when you go below 50km/h the spoilers goes back to normal positions. The ECS system makes the car stiff. There are airbags on top of every suspensions, that are filled with air when the ECS system is on. This to make the car get a better handling.Jun 23, 2008

Granted my car was never in the best of condition, but it was VERY expensive trying to restore it. That being said... I've never felt so much pride owning something before. The car made high school a blast. Always fun to cruise, pick up girls, and destroy cars costing five times as much. While the weight isn't as bad as most make it, it is enough to impact braking and turning. Other then that, it had blistering fast acceleration, amazing looks.Jan 04, 2008
