1991 Dodge Stealth FWDReview

Amazing — This is an amazing car. It was my daily driver until I got in a wreck, unfortunately. It is a very rare car, they were only made from 1991 to 1999. The only problem with this car is finding parts for the body because they rarely have this model at any junk yard. But in all its a very dependable car, just gotta keep good care of and change the oil regularly. And for 20 years old,it has held up very well. Pros: Did great on gas, looked very sporty and rode smooth. Cons: The parts are kind of expensive. |

Best Car I Ever Owned — I honestly love this car. Its my daughters now so we both work on it and we are changing engines right now. It was worth every penny and i can wait till it works agian just so i can go in the highway and fly down the road. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: I love this car but im doing alot of work on it so I cant really say how it is now. When i didnt have anything done to it still ran nice. Cons: None |

Car For The Passionate — I've owned my Dodge Stealth for over 10 years now, and I've enjoyed every day of it. We've had many adventures driving up and down the west coast, and the car has given me many memories to cherish. I've also enjoyed the community support this platform receives. There's a lot of fellow owners out there and dedicated vendors that help keep our cars on the road. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Beautiful car that attracts plenty of attention. Fun to drive and comfortable for long distances. Cons: Not being made anymore. |

Unique, Fast And Stylish. — I purchased this car with the assumption I would not be getting married anytime soon, but that changed. It was to be my 3 season driver (I have a winter car) that would turn heads and be unique, like me. I love the color, style, handling, and power. It was originally a R/T so it does not have AWD which would be nice but since I do not race it, AWD is not a priority for me. I love that it is a one owner vehicle who kept it in the garage (that makes a big difference). There is barely any wear in the interior and the exterior is not show room but looks really good. The Twin Turbo's make this a fun, fast, and friendly car as it handles amazingly and the aerodynamics are top of the line. Pros: Original engine replaced with Twin Turbo which has only 41k. 1 owner. Cons: Radio power antenna motor needs replaced. 3 instruments lights on that I have yet to work on (washer fluid, abs breaks, and air bag). |

I Love It, I Never Want To Buy Another Car, I Will Keep Fixing This One And Drive It Till I Die — I thought my Ramcharger was an amazing vehice, well the stealth blew it out of the water, The performance is awesome, its fast with good handling for a longer car, helps thats its lower to the ground then most cars, also has a selecter to tighten the suspension so you handle better. The Appearance is flat out sexy, comes stock with nice rims on it, a rear spoiler with a third brake light in it. The body is shaped like an hour glass, meaning the front and back quarter panels have like a wide body and the doors sink in, the interior is also nice with red leather and just a relaxed style of driving Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: I could sit here for hours naming off things i love about this car Cons: nothing i really hate, the gas milage isn't great but its a bigger engine and not really made to be good on gas |

The Best Sports Car I Have Owned. — i love every thing about this car its looks, its power for a 6 cyl.,the handling. and most of all its speed! its a real head turner. its all original. this car is in very good shape for its age. it just needs a little attention. i was going to give this car away for less than nothing. but have changed my mind. i am going to sell it for what its worth or just keep it. till i can fix it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: the all wheel drive all wheel stearing offers excellent handling. the 3.0 twin turdo 320 hp offers all the power you need. this is a very fast car. 0 to 60 in 4.1 sec. Cons: i have no cons about this car. |

They Look Nicer Than They Perform — so much time and money goes into these cars. i rebuilt mine 2x its now fwd twin turbo, not as fast as i want due to less traction 100 shot of nitrous stage 2 exedy clutch 2700lb pressure plate 8lb aluminum fidanza flywheel full exhaust test pipe headers, full fmic, bov valve job, big bore lifters Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: its quick but its expensive to build. i like it but id sell it Cons: if it brakes, it breaks hard lol |

Fun Middle Age Person Car/stylish And Quick — small back seat and expensive on repairs almost obsolete on parts from aftermarket suppliers. its like being in a cockpit in a jet or airplane/ Blind spots are notiicable if you sit in it and really look. at least 15 feet of blind spot in right rear when looking in mirror Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: sporty front wheel drive car, sleek, fast good fuel economy
Cons:
small back seat like a camaro/ expensive for parts or repairs/ no room in engine compartment (tight area) |

Nothing For Now. — For an aging car it's pretty damn fast. However, it doesn't kick you you back in your seat. So the lack of butt dyno makes people think this car isn't fast. Yet it will do 0-60 and the 1/4 mile a hair faster than a stock MkIV Supra. It handles pretty good to despite the weight. Still, it needs a diet. It also has power on understeer issues due to the center diff. However, the VCU can be replace with a Torsen unit that will take care of that real fast. Braking needs a little work though. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Everything else.
Cons:
Wheel gap. (Fixed) |
