My 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale 3.8 liter V6 so when it's in park I have amazing throttle response but as soon as I put it into gear I have to hold my foot on the brake and the gas at the same time and it acts like it wants to die out I have already changed the mass air flow sensor the spark plugs spark plug wires and coil pack just need help troubleshooting what's wrong with it
Car will start but dies going down the road it will start back up but keeps dying to hate he problem

Some days it starts with no problems, other days won't start...then an hour later it starts. I've taken it to my mechanics, who have been working with me for years, and of course it ran like a DREAM all week. It will go for weeks with no problem, then won't start. I'm afraid to go anywhere! My mechanic feels like it isn't the starter, because it turns over...just doesn't actually "catch" and if it isn't doing it when I take it in, nothing shows up on the diagnostic computer
