1990 Land Rover Range Rover 4WDReview
Elegant & Comfy Tank — The Range Rover had already been around for 15 years or so when they launched the diesel version, soon followed by a more powerful VM turbo diesel. This car was very well built, stable on the road (except when wet), reliable & always ready to go off-road. The Range does everything that you require it to in comfort. Great suspension that has been immensely improved since the 90s, good looks and a good and quite fuel efficient engine. I am very impatient to see the new Defender though... Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
Pros: A very elegant and comfy tank to take you anywhere - from the French Riviera to the fire tracks in the back country of Provence.
Cons: Floating rear axle makes for sketchy driving on wet surfaces
