This just a Toyota Corolla with Geo badges slapped on it. It actually seems to be a
stripped down version of a Corolla. So it's an economy economy car. I've already
owned two Toyota Corollas of this same generation and I've loved them. No part
made by Toyota itself has ever failed. As long as the battery will hold a charge
and the tires will hold air, this car will never fail to start. Slow, but not as slow as
my Metro. Another example of great asian car econo-car quality.Apr 02, 2010

Died after a drove it for 4 months but i did get it for 200 bucks. Performance bites. I dnt know my parents bought it and did the work. It was fun until it died and than i had to walk home.Feb 05, 2010

i smoked a 1000hp supra and a hayabusa. i havent toped it out but i was going 220 at 1/4 throttle its just that fast. 1990 geo prism 1.6 liter 200000 miles. my car is a collector to. yeahNov 16, 2009

I just love it inside and out. The car is VERY fun to drive! It gets excellent gas mileage. The build quality is just great. The appearence is good enough for me anyway. It is a car that requires little maintenance. The Geo Prizm will, if kept up with regular maintenance, last you a VERY, VERY long time! :) :)Aug 06, 2008

I have a 1990 GEO Prizim that won't start. I have replaced the coil , the plugs, plug wires and distributor cap. It still won't start. Why wont it start?

Coolant leak on a 90 geo prizm
I recently bought a used 1990 Geo Prizm with 82,000 on it. After I bought it I checked the fluid levels on it and found that the coolant level was low.Last week I had the coolant system flushed and refilled. They told me to bring it back in a week which I did, The radiator was half full again, so they flushed out everything again with me standing next to them and watching. As I was pulling into the service bay I noticed steam coming from the front of the car, The car runs fine and doesn't overheat. I took it to a mechanic who with a flashlight looked for leaks, he didn't see any, so he told me to drive it for about an hour, which I did. He then rechecked everything but can't see any leaks.He said the radiator which is original along with at least the top hose, looked iffy.
