1990 Geo Prizm 4 Dr STD SedanReview
The Cheapest Cheap Car That Never Fails. — This just a Toyota Corolla with Geo badges slapped on it. It actually seems to be a stripped down version of a Corolla. So it's an economy economy car. I've already owned two Toyota Corollas of this same generation and I've loved them. No part made by Toyota itself has ever failed. As long as the battery will hold a charge and the tires will hold air, this car will never fail to start. Slow, but not as slow as my Metro. Another example of great asian car econo-car quality.
Primary Use: Commuting to work
Pros: Excellent gas mileage. around 30 mpg
Cons: Awful paint, barest of bare bones accomodations. Windows won't roll up easily and are off track.
1990 Geo Prizm 4 Dr STD HatchbackReview
1990 Geo Prizm — I just love it inside and out. The car is VERY fun to drive! It gets excellent gas mileage. The build quality is just great. The appearence is good enough for me anyway. It is a car that requires little maintenance. The Geo Prizm will, if kept up with regular maintenance, last you a VERY, VERY long time! :) :)
Pros: Everything about the car is a positive aspect about it! :)
Cons: I honestly can't really think of anything negative about it!

Just to keep it short and sweet, This was the best, most reliable automobile that I ever owned. Period. I had over 165,000 miles on it and it was almost 10 years old when a delivery truck backed into it and compacted my trunk to half its length and smashed all my tail lights into little bits of plastic. Even so, I still drove it to work every day and around town on weekends for 8 months. I drove it until I got tired of the police pulling me over for not having working rear signal lights. If not for that truck, I would have had that car for another 10 years. Even at that age and with that mileage, the Prizm worked and drove like new. It always turned over on the first crank and was always ready to go. For what it was, (a cheap ride) it looked and handled great. It was also a fun car to drive. I never once had an engine or transmission problem or even a major repair. Except for routine maintenance, that car never saw a mechanics wrench. Besides scheduled maintenance, all my Prizm needed was oil, gas and a destination and wed be good to go. I frickin loved that car.
