1990 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth AvenueReview

Everything A Luxury Car Should Be — If I would design a luxury car today, it would be just like that New Yorker. Slow, heavy, decent mileage, but impossible large on the inside, a massive boot, an impeccable ride, and all the randomness on the dash you can have without being confused like in a Benz.
Pros:
This car had impossible amounts of room in the front and back seats, the air ride suspension made the ride immaculate for a 1990's car, and even with all the room in the cabin, the trunk could hold my golf clubs and multiple other items. Even fit three of my friends in there. :P Cons: The car was slow-ish. Handled like a luxury chrysler. And was really flipping boxy ![]() Looking for a Used New Yorker in your area?CarGurus has 15 nationwide New Yorker listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

Best 700 I Ever Spent — Rides like a cloud. My car sat for a little before I purchased it and it still performed perfectly on a 300km road trip. Gas isint as bad as you expect. No major issues in my time of owning it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: You feel like a pimp Cons: If youre standing infront of a moving one |

Fun To Drive And Comfy — Its very comfortable but the acceleration and speed is horrible and the turning radius is that of a boat I got mine with all the options of that time for 2,000 its fun to drive the suspension is great and its easy to maintain Pros: comfortable and smooth ride Cons: horrible perfoemance |

'90 New Yorker — This was a great car, over 500,000kms on her and she still drove like she was brand new. We bought it at 460,000kms (or so we're told. Speedometer was broken) and we put on another good 150,000 before she decided to die on us. This car sped way to easily especially when you don't have a speedometer (haha) you'd be amazed to see how many photo radar tickets my boyfriend got because of that. It needed an altenator 8 months after we bought it and that was it. The exterior appearance was very nice I loved it. The interior was like sitting on clouds, soooo comfy. Gas mileage all depended on how we drove it. Sometimes it would get alot sometimes not so much, but what can you expect if you bag it? This car was awesome. I really miss it. Lots of heads turned after you rip the muffler off. It sounded really good for a V6. It sounded like a small block V8. Would have been better if we put a bottle or something on it. I really miss this car. R.I.P. lol Pros: Fun, looked good, sounded good, went fast. Cons: When they start to go, they go. There's no stopping it. |
