This Car Is For Those Who Appreciate An American Steel —

I got my vehicle in 2009 for $600 when I didn't have a job. I put more into it with tints and a stereo player right after I got it. I put 100,000 km in 5 years before upgrading to a 1995 Cadillac. I appreciate the old American giants of the road, so I understand what this car is worth. There were a few small things that broke with age and wear, and there are drips and oil leaks. But the engine and transmission are solid. I get about 6.5 km / L to 8.5 km / L depending on the time of year (better in the summers) and type of driving. The car is underpowered and maxes out at 130 km/ hr but it is a smooth joy to ride. On long trips, this car is a pleasure to sit in. The body has some rust, but it has survived surprisingly well for going through Canadian winters. And I was rear ended in this about 3 days after I got it by a Ford 350. I have two small dents on the rear bumper from it, and I simply shook hands with the guy since there was no other damage. Any other car would have crumpled itself. And the trunk has enough space for hiding bodies that would make any New York mobster proud. And a friend said, this car is meant for chauffering a mob Don.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very gentle, smooth and comfortable ride.  Built to take a hit.  With proper winter tyres, the car is very easy to handle in the snow.

Cons: The 150 hp engine just doesn't cut it.  Since mine is from 1989, that figure has dropped by about 15%.  The car maxes out at 130 km / hr and really drops speed at  hills.  The front brakes need to changed at about 25000 km

Comfy Boat For The Road — I think this thing looks cool. Period. It's a huge boat, handles like a boat and being a 5.0 V8... sounds like a boat LOL. Doesn't move at all, but on snow it's a blast. It's ALWAYS sideways. Being a member of the panther platform, there's lots of things that can be done to them, because all the fox body stuff bolts right up!!! Not sure if I'm going to mod it yet. We'll see :-)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 20 mpg V8 daily that's su un-green it's awesome

Cons: Most ppl think it's ugly...

An Oldie But A Goodie — Pros: spacious and luxurious couch-like seats; p-windows, locks, drivers seat; smooth and quiet ride, even at 100 mph all you hear is the wind; good torque, start accelleration, and towing capacity. Cons: gas mileage not too great, low power for engine size and not very fast (only 105 mph), towards the last fey years had lots of little problems, including breaking of window motor, door handle, break cylinder, starter, heater core, teeth on flywheel, and engine overheating. Luckily no tranny problems, even at 165k miles.

5500 Lbs. Of Steel. — A 302 V8 with rear wheel drive, and no weight in the back. i cut this thing loose all the time, hella fun. And then if you're dumb and you crash it doesn't really matter since you weigh more than most trucks and made out of steel, the other person is gonna lose this battle. Plus it was the nicest ride I've ever owned, real smooth. Oh, and if it did break, which I think is impossible since I hot rodded it everywhere for over ten thousand miles when I owned it and never had a problem, the parts are cheap and its easy to fix.

Pros: rear wheel drive
nice ride
American steel
huge

Cons: gas
huge
heavy
