Fantastic — Love the way it handles. Being a 1988, it still get looks and comments. Asked a Sheriff's deputy if he wanted to race. He said "YES" !!! Funny. But intriguing... Don't see myself ever selling this little Jewel.Nice ride, and a dream come true.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handles fantastic. Especially on curves. Fun, fun, fun car to drive. The family keeps saying it looks like something from the future.

Cons: It's a "sports" car, so not made for room. At least they put a "small" trunk behind the engine. Smart idea.

The Mr2 — 0-60 mph is 7.1 sec with 36 mpg, I love the car, put a fair bit of time into it and it was totally worth it. I've wanted one since I was 16 and now that I have one I will never let it go.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The economical mans Lotus.

Cons: NOTHING!!!

Good Times Where Had — This car was a bat outta hell! Orange Copper paint, t-tops, pumping stereo, and a 1.6L DOHC Supercharged Engine, it also had Brullen Exhaust and racing rims. It only had 113,000 kms when i got it and it has to this day been the most exciting fun car i have driven. The acceleration on this car was amazing with the engine in the back and it being rear wheel drive. The handling was amazing sticking to the road like glue. It was like driving a go-kart with a massive steriod addiction.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Extremely fun and feul efficient

Cons: No winter driving allowed

My Favorite Car Ever — its my favorite car ever, go-kart handling without the hand-holding of modern airbags, stability control, traction control, ABS or any of that crap. a raw driving experience made even better with the supercharger option. 80's toyotas kick ass. no car in this price bracket can provide a driving experience like this.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It will teach you how to drive

Cons: none

Supercharged Rollerskate!!! — 145hp from the stock supercharged MR2. It was fast, nimble and had a look all of it's own. I will have another one...it'll just take a while. There were only about 2500 in the USA. Mine was blue with blue interior. Great memories!

Pros: Supercharged! Need I say more?

Cons: Prone to rust.

Awesome, Fun And Sporty! — The poor man's sports car! Its fun to drive, its great to own, very little maintenance issues! Parts are somewhat pricey although if you do your own work, its easy. Has a few quirks but its part of its charm!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: T-tops and it moves

Cons: hard to find a mechanic that will work on it

Inexpensive Exotic — Acceleration is awesome, brakes great, will out handle most cars on the road. High build quality. Is stock exterior, and interior. Cost of ownership is very low nothing needs to be replaced regularly. It gets 31 MPG being super charged.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling, Acceleration

Cons: Not great in Snow

Blast To Drive — These cars are so much fun. I have a 88 mr2 s/c model. but you gotta have a 5-speed tranny though. if you don't own one yet, borrow your friend and test drive one so you know what I'm talking about. But trust me... you'll be hook driving a MR2, specially the supercharged engine (4agze). these aw11 are show cars and they'll make your head turn. rare cars to own. they are 20 years old cars but they don't make you look old even if you are old. wanna stay young ? drive an MR2. give me reply, questions, or comments truclaw@yahoo.com goodluck with yours. and welcome to the MR2 club.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Rear Wheel Drive, mid-engine, T-tops, Pop up headlights

Cons: Leaking t-top seals , squeaky/rattling supercharger, headlights won't go down anymore.

Absolute Death Trap — i hate that i can't afford to fix it enough to put it on the road!!!! got it as a project that never got done, i love it's power to weight ratio but hate it cuz of it being an automatic. but overall, i still love the damn thing like a child, lol

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: nice looking, powerfull, good on gas

Cons: crush like a popcan in an accident, rust out easy, hard to get parts for

I Like It. — Not enough power but the handling makes up for it. Everything still works, A/C cold. Paint is starting to fade out. Transmission is starting to act up. No leaks of any kind, nor any major mechanical trouble. Very fun to drive!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: People notice you.

Cons: Not enough power.
