One Of Porsche Best — bought this car back in 1999 or 2000 as a fun car. it had 75,000 miles on it. it now has 130,000 plus. still goes like a bat outta hell turns heads and nearly cause some peple self inflected whiplash. doen't burn oil doesn't leak anywhere. brakes are incrdible. and for very sprited highway driving and funn it doesn't get much better. down side cost of ownership and limited knowledge base for repairs locally.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It just goes and goes. power like no other and stops just as quick as it goes.

Cons: cost of ownership

German Corvette, More Seats, And More Everything Else! — Could use launch control, and more bottom end. Good acceleration, excellent braking and handling. Sexy exterior, great lines, sound system needs upgrading. Gas mileage (dunno, will see soon) Maintenance ( dunno) Fun...fun...fun to drive, lively back-end. Perfect for drifting.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: woo hoo

Cons: back seats

This Car Has A Pride Of Ownership, Lives Up To Its Name And Then Some. — I Own a 88 - 928 and what I can say is this is an excellent example of a quality built, finely tuned sports car. After owning a 350hp corvette and various other performance cars the Porche by far out does them all in its class. The handling is precise and clean without scary surprises, throttle response is awesome as long as its tuned properly. Some advice that might be helpful if you own or thinking of buying, keep the leather interior clean and treated, engine and compartment clean and always keep it tuned to its peek or you can run into troubles. What I mean is if something is out mechanically like a sensor or even a plug it can leed to more serious issues so keep her tuned and clean then you won't have any problems and don't be scared by the price of repairs!! Find yourself a good mechanic that knows the 928 as its a beast all on its own then stick with him as opposed to a hacker who can do more damage than good to your baby. Its not cheep but then if you drive a car like this you should know better.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Excellent handling and overall a sweet ride with a true feeling of what a sports car should feel like.

Cons: Don't like the frame around the side windows.

That Is My Girl — I love to be with her. She has the style i like. Most days I find myself with her covered in oil and greasy. It is not a fetish, well, not in that way. She is a little bit costy, it is fun to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: performance

Cons: i love it

Unique, A Factory One-off — Indischrot with black and tennis cloth interior. Mechanically similar to the Club Sport 928s but with a unique high performance engine, close-ratio gearbox and full luxury interior. Only one ever made. See 928GTE in Wikicars.com

Pros: Only one made

Cons: If I damage it, where will I ever get parts?
