Great Family Car, Did It's Job And We Drove Her To Death! — Oh, Alice the family station wagon! It went through driving to Smith College multiple times in Western MA and years of grocery shopping, trips to Canada, and the Southern US, and all over New England. It went through all three kids before her brakes failed on me one night my Senior year of HS. She was awesome, comfy and 100% 80's well loved family beater! We all loved her, and she was a great car! =) Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Get one if you can find one, They're a high quality Ford! Cons: Avoid if you hate Fords lol |

My Taurus — wasnt a bad car.. got it used and i put a lot of miles on it before the manufacturer's "planned obsolescence" thing kicked in -- transmission died.. twice. once when i was in DC.. $2200.. and again 6 months later in the Amboys. That was fun driving home in 2nd gear heh.. straight to the junkyard. other than that, never had an issue with it Pros: easy to maintain Cons: no frills |

Rust Rust Rust — owned the car since new and always took care of it. ran like a champ with little to no work needed for 130,000 miles but it rusted to hell just after we finished paying for it. Pros: ran great, hardly ever needed anything, cheap to fix Cons: Rusted faster then a hot dog in an all american |

It's Old And Busted — my poor old car has seen one too many accidents. it has many dings and dents and the rear bumper is almost torn off...it literally hangs by threads. it breaks down every week or two...constantly needing work..and money put into it. ...i will eventually get a new car...as soon as i can afford one..lol Pros: it runs occasionally and gets me from place to place Cons: see the full review |

Best $200 I've Ever Spent On A Car — First car, picked up from my friend's parent's garage. Just needed a little TLC. This littlel High School cruiser was the stationwagon edition with plenty of interior room for jealousy. It came standard with a full bench front seat. The driver side interior door handle broke off, which allowed me to get some exercise climbing over to the passenger side to exit.
Pros:
Cheap buy. Cons: Gas gauge didn't work. |
