1987 Pontiac Grand Prix LEReview

I Love This Car — I have owned my 87 grand prix since 07 and it was my 1st car. I love this car it is fast handles pretty good on and off the track. yes I have driven mine on a race track a few times and not no drag strip. Parts for this car are easy to find and cheap to find. The only thing major I've had to replace was the gas tank and the exhaust but that was mainly because the car set in a field for 8 years before I bought it. Again this is a great car. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: the seats where very comfortable Cons: I don't have anything bad to say about the 87 grand pirx ![]() Looking for a Used Grand Prix in your area?CarGurus has 576 nationwide Grand Prix listings starting at $2,521. |

1987 Pontiac Grand Prix Brougham 2dr Coupe — This car hauls ass, is stock and mint. I bought it for $700.00 and restored it to mint original condition. It looks great,is sound, parts are everywhere, little heavy on gas, but I have a lead foot. Fun car with full load. Not sure what its worth restored but I love it. Pros: Style, performance, parts availability and options Cons: Minor Valve tick |

'87 Pontiac Grand Prix — With a 350 HP 5.0 liter GM engine, Pozzi rear and some racing tires this thing was one fast car. It could take a chevelle, older camaros, monte carlo on the 1/4 mile every time. Roomy and stylish on the inside. I really felt safe in that car. It was big and strong. Some day I'll buy another one and restore it. Pros: Many Cons: None... its age if anything. |

Ive Owned Over 30 81-87 Grand Prix's And Many Other G-bodies. — This car is an absolute dream to own and drive.it has been well maintained and is driven daily. I stripped the body to bare metal and repainted it earlier this year. Car has performed flawlessly for the last year ive owned it. I am the third owner and it is promised to my son when he graduates next year. Update. This car no longer exists. Was totalled in November. Pros: Runs and drives great. Comfortable classic looks always draws compliments and looks. Cons: Other than the gas mileage could be a lil better, I can't think of any real cons. I love this car. |

Fantastic car. I bought mine in 1999..Dont know if its a LE or a Brougham. Still got it. Mine is a automatic on the floor. 5.0L high output engine. 305 ci...Amazingly the motor has Chevy stamped on valve covers. Love this car. My dad had a 1986 Buick Regal 5.0L but it was FWD. Both are great.... Pontiac is faster. vs1987 Buick Regal
