This car was my first Nissan Sports car back in 1987 bought it off the dealer cash 0 miles. I have loved driving this ever since. It has amazing looks even now.
It always ran smoothed and I love the feel of the clutch and how well it grips and engages through the gears.
Many fond memories are in this car, many, Many good times as I drove it around Miami, from one adventure to another. Apr 23, 2013

performance was great with the 3L V6 turbo my best 1/4 mile time in stock form was 15.6 sec which isnt too bad considering how heavy it was it also used to drift quite nicely also great car overallFeb 10, 2012

being an 87. the previous owner didnt take good care of it so i had too. it was very

My son and I bought this 300zx recently. It's been sitting in a garage for 3 years -63k, totally stock with a perfect interior and just a few minor dings. Work so far; Belts, hoses, and our first Heater core R&R job.... Simple enough job, but not one we enjoyed without much info on it available.Feb 09, 2011

Spotted this beauty while walking home one late night. After I plastered my face
to the window and discovered, to my delight, that it was indeed a manual tranny.
With t-tops to boot. Not much else to say on this yet as I just purchased it...more

gas isn't cheap, particularly for the turbo, but it's a blast for weekend driving, always fun to toss around on the mountain passes... There are obviously more powerful and better handling cars, but this one is mine, and it fits me like a gloveOct 08, 2009

it was a Z? it shifted easy, but hard...it had decently sized stock tires, handled like a roadster...had T topsfor them nice days...it was quick, ahd a nice lou's custom exhaust which opened up that v6 nicelyOct 05, 2009

This car has about 163 hp. hit powerband from 3000-5000 RPM. handles nicely. i absolutely love the look of this car!! I picked it up in april of 09 for $2K. Wound up sinking another $3K into for head work, gaskets, cooling system, and a few other small tweaks here and there. all in all i think it's worth every dime that I've spent.Aug 25, 2009

I picked this one up in a friend of a friend type purchase. For the price I am quite content with the condition and performance of the Z. She is a 87 turbo GLL model with 209k miles on her, but after checkin her over I believe she still has allot more left in her. The turbo spools fast and strong, currently pushing about 8lbs of boost. Sadly however the clutch is starting to feel the 200+ thousand miles and is starting to slip in the upper RPMs. But after 22 years and 209k miles i really can't complain. The car is still suitable for daily driving and so is my primary mode of transportation. A few things were in need of attention when I first purchased her, but nothing catastrophic. Minor things such as power window switches that worked, but took some fenagleing to get them to work from time to time. The power window on the drivers side was also hand assisted, 22 year old stock head unit had a few bugs in it, and a shock mount needed to be replaced. The body is completely straight asside from two small rust spots on the corners of each tail light. The paint is of course faded from the years and the interior is in need of a shampooing, but the overall ergonomics are perfect for me. All in all given the age and mileage of the car I am extremely impressed, thus the reason I buy these cars time and time again. It is a inexpensive sports/touring car that is a blast to drive. Esspecially in the summer time with the T-tops off.Apr 05, 2009

Great fun car that is super cheap to buy/own. Only problems are rust, mediocre acceleration and weight. Other than that it is an amazing car to use as a daily driver and is super fun to get sideways. For a car over 22 years old, it has very few problems and has great styling. Mar 29, 2009

i love my car in everyway. only thing i want to do to it is twin turbos and bigger brakes. runs great and has real low miles. gets up nice and quick and handles great. love the system i put in it as well, most people cant listen to it as loud as i can.Feb 05, 2009

this car was very quick and had great accleration, the interior was extremly good looking and comfortable, the overall appearance of the car was very sporty and stylish, it was a bit rich on fuel but loads of fun to drive none the less, but last week the engine bay caught fire now the car is in the process of being rebuilt.. :( :( :(Sep 09, 2008

I'm in the middle of trying to get it back on the road. I need to have some under body work done to make it safer. It's turbo so it's fast as hell for stock. With four lbs boost it's still a 15s car. I haven't done anything to it in the year that I've had it except drive it around after having to do head gaskets. Didn't want to blow it up last season, and haven't gotten it out there yet this season. Man I love that car though :)Jul 21, 2008

Crank no start. Start with carb cleaner only
Car drove with a miss fire on cylinder 4 with a external leak of the fuel injector. Replaced all 6 injectors, all 6 spark plugs wires, wires, intake gasket. Previous owner recently did distributor , fuel filter and fuel regulator. Replaced all components above and not I have a crank no start. I use carb cleaner and constantly spray it in the intake and the car will run for a long time or unroll I stop spraying. Figured why not and put a 255 fuel pump in as it was a cheeper alternative vs stock pump. Same thing, crank no start. I have spark, all spark wires are ran correctly. Car drove wjere it now is sitting and I’m very stumbled. Not really familiar with imports but solid with GM and Chrysler products.

Gas gauge
When the fuel tank is full the gauge is measuring it right but once it goes below 1/2 tank the needle drops all the way to empty. The only way I know it still has fuel in it is by the mileage. I have people tell me that I need to fill up when I have just driven it 100 miles.

whatwould it take to put new fuel injectors in?
i have 1 injector not working should i replace them all or just the one? i dont have alot of money, will it run ok if i do just that one.
