This is the car that saved Ford in the Mid eighties. This is also the first car I ever owned. Never had a problem with it besides the water pump. And being my first car it was treated pretty rough. i loved it. But then again it was my first car.Jul 17, 2009

what could it be?
new alternator,new battery,belt is tight, shows 14.2 volts going to the battery but the car will run until it drains the battery then die. It seem like it is just running off the battery. Only last a day and not even that if you use the headlights.When I put the charger on it shows less then 25%. TLG
