reverse light switch
I am wondering if there is more than one reverse switch on my 85 928. The one on the pictures I see mostly are two wires going into a sensor but the only thing I can find is a switch next to the shift lever.

my 86.5 has an S4 intake installed by the PO that I recently refurbished (see pic). Also upgraded injectors to Bosch Gen III 4 hole. Also purchased and installed a refurbished MAF (JD Porsche). Smoke tested it and seemed fine. Runs spectacularly except for the initial stall at 2000 rpm and the slow inexorable increase in idle speed. Idle is also very smooth -- just fast... Thoughts?
I have just put plugs and wires on it but it started doing this before. after putting them on i took it for a run and it ran great . Then i took it home and it started doing this again while setting in my garage.
Please help me in what could be the issue....I know about Fords and Mopars not Porshe...I love this car and want to fix it plus keep it...but I need help before I change my mind and sell it....Thanks
