Even though this car was wore out it gave a good ride. It had plenty of power from the 302 it has. It sure ain't the best looking thing on the road but it was comfortable. I wouldn't mind owning another one like it.Jun 22, 2010

This car is almost absent from North American roads today. It is very prone to rusting and this will greatly limit the car's lifespan. This car is easy to drive when the power-steering fluid isn't leaking. The engine is non-responsive under 20km/h. At 20km/h the car starts being more agile and shows generous torque. The seats are comfy but lack lateral support. The electrics aren't reliable: window controls, cruise control etc. Funny fact: this car has room for two spare tires in the back. One is hidden in the car body on the left side.Sep 08, 2009

This car was a tank!! I loved this car. My mom and dad had this car before I did. My sisters drove it as a school car, and kinda tore it up. It rode like a dream, and it was the most beautiful dark blue color. It was a gorgeous car in it's time. Unfortunately, the transmission went out, and it cost more to fix it than it was worth, so I junked it.Jul 26, 2009

A beautiful car. Had over 300,000 miles on it before it was destroyed in a car accident. It held up well in an accident VS a large van. It was souped up with all the options and gadgets. I LOVED this car!Feb 05, 2009

Only has problem in warm temperatures.1986 Mercury Grand Marquis 5.0 has a problem starting. After it is warmed up and turned off for 10 to 15 minutes fuel punp operates but, no fuel to engine. Car will eventually start after a few more minutes. Car has new fuel punp and filter with full tank of gas or less. What can possibly be wrong?
